MY ABANDONED ANTAGONIST

I got transmigrated. It's a reverse harem game(otome game). The heroine and her chosen capture target are already together. The other capture targets are already in love with the heroine. But the villainess was punished and abandoned. What is this? Nobody wants her? Alright guess I will keep her for myself and live happily. But that's not the end there's more to come. Join our mc and villainess and add this story to your collections. #I am not a native english speaker. So you can expect mistakes. I will not make false claims saying the mc will be super intelligent that even gods are fool infront of him. That's just a display of author's pure stupidity. I will try to make it a bit realistic. (Don't keep really high expectations. It's my first time writting something like this.) Yeah so please go easy on me. Regards Koushik2002 Cover is not mine * and yeah give me some power stones too.

Chapter 27

I am currently outside the inn. Beside me stood the guard captain.

It is already past noon, the sun is making its way towards the west. Yeah, this world follows the same pattern of sunrise and sunset. I guess the game developers followed the usual practice in the previous world. Honestly, it is advantageous for me, or else I would have re-learn those concepts again in this world.

I left Scar and his sister Grace, alone in the room. But Cloud was stationed outside the door, in case they needed something.

From my interaction with Scar so far, it looks like I have managed to gain some of his trust. He is not a villain yet. So it is understandable for him to have purity left in his heart.

But of course, there is no way I can earn his complete trust by just meeting him for a few hours right? Or maybe I can? Well…..Who knows?..... Time will tell.

I gave him some time to think and sort out things with himself.  If it doesn't work out, there is always plan B.

I turned to the guard captain, "I want to take a walk outside in the streets,"

The guard captain nodded, "Yes, let me accompany you-"

"Alone…" I interrupted him before he could finish.

"Pardon?"

"I want to go on a walk...alone," I said after a pause.

"What!? No way. Last time-"

I stopped him from saying any further.

"Last time was just an unexpected event. I was not ready. Although..." I looked into his eyes.  "The incident last time benefited me right?"

Captain, gave some thought to my words and nodded.

"But still what if you get into some trouble, there can be many unexpected dangers if you wander around alone, you will need somebody to protect you,"

*Haaa~

Hearing him I let out a sigh,

"Guard captain, nothing can easily harm me anymore, you know? Did you forget?" I asked him, to which he showed a puzzled look. Clearly not understanding what I said'

I let out another sigh.

"Look…" I beckoned him, as the air around me started turning cold, and a thin layer of ice started forming around my feet, " Remember…..I am not weak anymore you know?"

He looked at the ice around my feet and realisation struck him, his eyes open wide.

"Y-yeah....but! You are just a newly awakened my lord, and…"

"Do you think anyone will mess with me if they see me using magic? Even if I am newly awakened, there is no way for any ordinary person to know that right? And for me, meeting another person, who is also a magic user is very low. Most importantly, do you really think I would deliberately get into trouble? " I questioned him.

Hearing my question, he tried to retort, but could not.

Well, honestly…..I think that my powers are different from the usual way of using elemental magic.

From the moment I came into contact with these powers, I understood that I don't have to follow the usual learning patterns of this world.

If I remember correctly, every awakened person has to go through rigorous training in order to master their control over elements. Just awakening an element doesn't mean one can just control the nature of that element. Awakening an element is just the primary step. After a person awakens an element they are to be mentored and taught different 'spells' or 'magic arts' by a teacher. These 'spells' and 'magic arts' help an individual borrow or use the power of the element they have awakened.

An individual needs a vast amount of mana and should be proficient in their respected spells or magic arts or skills, and years of rigorous training to be able to somehow understand the complexity of the elements.

There are some people who manage to understand the actual concept of elemental magic. These individuals do not need to rely upon chanting a 'spell' or a particular 'magic art' to borrow the powers. These people who can by their will, transcend this usual system and can borrow the powers of elements directly, without chanting a 'spell' or using any 'magic art are known as 'Beyonders.'

The number of 'Beyonders' in the continent is less than fifteen. Normally, these 'Beyonders' are over a hundred years old and are extremely powerful. Far more powerful and are far more powerful than a Mage grandmaster or Magic swordmaster. In fact, every Mage grandmaster or a magic swordsman wishes to ultimately transcend the usual system and reach the heights of a 'Beyonder'.

For that reason, different magic academies were established throughout the continent. Even the heroine, after she awakened her rare light element magic, was first admitted to the imperial institute of magic arts and later on to the holy church, where she perfected her skills under the guidance of the 'holy saintess'. 'Holy saintess' was one of the only two people other than the heroine who is known to possess the light element magic.

Now, in my case, I already have the perfect knowledge of how to manipulate and use the ice element itself. Unlike others, I don't have to learn spells or magic arts that correspond to the element, and will help me to borrow the power of the element.

When I absorbed that crystal flower, my perception of the reality of elements completely changed. It can be said that I am already at a stage of understanding the elements, which is only possible for 'Beyonders'.

'The only problem is the amount of mana. To perform the groundbreaking feats that 'beyonders' can perform, I need a huge amount of mana along with the transcendental understanding of elements. But unfortunately, the mana I can feel is not even close to what is needed to perform the feats of 'Beyonders'.'

But the thing is I have no idea how to increase my mana. My mana should be just a level above what ordinary commoners have. Do I need to follow the usual way of the world? But if I follow the usual way, it will take decades to even come close to the mana quantity of a Mage grandmaster, much less a 'Beyonder'.

'Well….whatever, I have to think of a way for it. Or else…despite having these unusual powers, I will be able to do nothing.' I noted that in my mind. Upon returning to the Barony, I have to look for ways.

I dismissed the thoughts for now and addressed the guard captain,

"What I am saying is don't worry. It's just a stroll. I will be back in three hours at maximum."

He reluctantly nodded, " Alright…..I hope you don't get in any trouble."

'Haaa~ seriously? Even my mom, when she was still alive in the previous world, not used to worry like that….'  I sighed and nodded.

I said goodbye and left the inn.

'Haaa~ how will I change their overprotective attitude...' I lamented while walking down the streets.
