I'm Going to Die

She wasn't satisfied, not because she couldn't get married in a ceremony, but because she wanted to tease him more to the core, to see how long he could hold that stoic mask of his.

Lately, teasing him had become one of her favorite hobbies, she had planned to tease him to no end on their wedding day, but all hopes of doing that got shattered. He was right, if they had a wedding ceremony, it would do no good, but attract their enemies and just worsen the situation at hand. She couldn't agree more.

The car suddenly started and sped off to its destination.

Mia was playing her part with the cameramen at every angle, and the light men were doing the same, but the director was never satisfied, he kept on cutting the scene.

"Cut!" the director said through the megaphone, Mia's and the other actor's heads snapped toward him... again. "I'm not feeling any emotion in this scene, and the problem is coming from you, Mia. What the hell is going on in that head of yours? What do I always say? Don't act like the character, be the character. You're messing this scene up. This isn't the Mia I know. You're one of the best actresses out there. If you don't want the role, many other actresses are dying to get it".

Mia rolled her eyes. "Blah, blah, blah, maybe you're forgetting I'm a Song, and I can sue you, tsk, old hag," she said inaudibly, but the actor next to her could her hear and tried as much as possible to stifle the laughter bubbling up within him.

"And no rolling of eyes, unless you want to lose your job," he shot back. "Now, lights, camera, and... action."

After a few rounds of playing the role, the director was finally satisfied and smiled with pride.

"Cut! now that's what I'm looking for, you have to be the character, feel the character. I love that! You can all take a break," he took a sip of his coffee before he continued. "Next take will be at 9:00... oh, you know what, that's it for today, I'm tired. You all can go home, take a rest and get ready for tomorrow's shoot."

Everyone wrapped up in their activities, and Mia and the other actor took a turn to their dressing room, Mia took a towel from one of the assistants to dab the tears away from her face that she used for the scene.

"Nice acting, Miss Song," the actor commented.

"Yuchen, how many times do I have to tell you to drop the formalities, we've known each other long enough.

"Ah, sorry about that. I'm just used to it," he replied sheepishly, rubbing his cheek. He had natural blonde hair and icy blue eyes, but his facial features were similar to that of a Chinese. He was half Chinese and half British. He was a cute guy with a charming aura, just the definition of every girl's dream on screen.

"It's okay, thanks though. You weren't bad either," they were close to their dressing room as they walked together.

"Thanks, see ya tomorrow," he said, making a turn to his room

"Yeah, bye," Her room was ahead, so she walked a little bit before she reached it, she reached out to the doorknob to open it when it suddenly swung open. She couldn't believe her eyes.

"What the hell are you doing here and how did you get in?!" she fumed, shooting daggers at him.

"You're forgetting that I have access to all the rooms in this studio, my dear. My dad owns this studio, so I have the privilege of roaming wherever and however I want,"

Mia rolled her eyes. "So-"

"Okay, we get that your family is very influential and wealthy. But still, they never provided you with any financial support except for your basic needs and your education, but not freedom and I'm the one who introduced you to this studio, and I can also take it away from you," he cut her in and replied all in one breath.

"I'd like to see you try, Tristan," she acted like she didn't care which made him scared for a moment. He has known her long enough to know that anytime she behaves this cool in a serious situation, something is going on in that crazy head of hers, and based on previous experiences, it has never been good.

"Whatever," he tried as much as possible to remain nonchalant to her reaction, he rolled his eyes, running his hand through those chocolate curls of his before walking away.

Mia went inside and freshened up and left the building, heading for her car, she got a text and immediately opened it, it was from Ivy.

'Hi, baby, come to the Qin Villa ASAP, I think I'm going to die,' it read. Mia found it hard to believe so she read it again over seven times and checked if the person was really Ivy by checking the number. First of all, why is she calling her sweet names, secondly, what is she doing at the Qins, thirdly, Ivy die?! What sort of joke is this? She couldn't remember the last time Ivy played this type of prank on her.

She went to Ivy's contact info and read through the digits of her number carefully just to make sure it was Ivy, she rubbed her eyes, blinked, then slapped herself a few times to make sure she wasn't hallucinating.

She knew that Ivy wasn't the type to get abducted, she had some serious fighting skills and there was no way she would leave her phone for anyone to pick it up and send a text to her.

Mia immediately got into her car and it accelerated at high speed to her destination.

...

Before long, Mia arrived at the Qin's Villa and from what she could see the atmosphere was very calm, it didn't look like someone was dying, and it looked very much more beautiful than when she first came here.

Maybe it was because she wasn't focused on the lavishness of the house, her friend's life was on the line. Or maybe it was because it was day then and now it was night.

But it still looked magnificent, like a modern palace, it had large windows on all sides, some of them were tinted, and lights peeked through some of the curtains, as the wind blew on it. She was surprised when the security let her in with no issues at all.

The air on this vast land was on another level, especially on a cold night like this, it blew on her hair wildly when she drove in. She could see that even though this place looked so modern, it didn't escape the fresh breath of nature.

In between the walkway, there was a lawn. On the right side, there was a very huge oak tree that looked old but, but still complimented the modernity of the mansion.

She found a convenient parking space and parked there, the moment she came out, a gush of wind slapped her face gently which scattered her neatly brushed hair, making her look slightly unkempt.

She forgot to bring a hairband with her since she was in a rush to go to work in the morning, so she resulted up tying her hair into a very loose but cute bun.

She took gentle strides towards the huge and tastefully decorated mansion in order not to let her hair loose in the process of walking fast.

She wanted to knock on the door, but with what Ivy did last time, she couldn't trust her when it came to her life. So she pushed the door with so much force. The door looked heavy but it was as light as any other door which made her trip over and landed on a man's feet

I'm so so so sorry my lovelies, I have an issue that I have to resolve, but ill make sure I'll squeeze out time to update. Thanks for understanding
