Chapter 73 The Killing Joke

Yajima was sweating at the aura Karna was giving out right now. He can see that other council members that had a bit of common-sense including Gerard was also slightly sweating as they too are able to read the room. The idiots are not having any idea of who they are antagonising are gloating right now. Suddenly one of them began speaking.

"Karna Vermillion, do you now understand the power of the council. Did you think you can go scott free because of being a member of a puny guild"

The other idiots also chimed in

"yes, even though you might have stopped a few demons of Zeref which can't be proven unless by the words of your unruly guildmates and the dark guild members that you beat up, do you think that makes you above us the council"

One by one they started shouting like children bullying one person that is somehow different. Making Karna see that the purge last time was a waste of time as the council was filled again with idiots shouting and increasing his blood pressure. He looked at Yajima and found out that including him and a few others like Gerard are not making any sort of comments and seem to be wanting to stop the other idiots. Seeing them still prattling on, Karna had enough, and he decided to end it. He had never used the political power he had gained by inheriting Mavis's name but now he felt like using it to deal with the aftermath of what he was about to do.

He let out his aura that he was keeping inside of him making everyone freeze up. Then he turned towards Yajima.

"take the guys who are not idiots and get out. You got 5 seconds"

Yajima got the message as he immediately used his magic to signal a few members present there to get out. He knew seeing Karna's expression that there is no negotiation right now and the only thing he can do now is take the councillors who had common sense not to order this outside.

He and the others immediately exited the room leaving the others to deal the after math. They were panting a bit remembering the aura that the kid expelled before telling them to get out. Yajima shivered

'damn that kid must have reached the level of Gildarts by now and if I am sure with his intellect, the magic he uses must not be limited to the ones that he shows outside. What the hell has those idiots inside done.'

At the same time on Gerards mind

'what the hell is he. All the plans and calculations I made are wrong. No wonder the Grimoire hearts Master had warned not to antagonise him

But the plans of the R system are reaching its end and sooner or later I need to capture Erza as my perfect sacrifice. Wait, should I use Vermillion. No don't be stupid arrogance would not work here. Even that Mercinary guild will not be able to handle him.

But if I succeed in my plans and manage to revive Zeref then not even Vermillion will be able to stop the advent of the world of magic. I need to distract him while I am capturing Erza'

A glint came into the eyes of Gerard as he though out the next plan to finish his goals.

At the time, inside the council room.

"w-w-what are you…. planning" one of the scared council members stuttered out seeing Karna moving towards them while trapping everyone in Aura.

Karna had once suddenly received a gift from the system while spending some private 'cough-cough' time with Cana. Though the reward felt like a joke then, Karna never thought he will use it like this.

The reward was infinite bondage rope. It was also enchanted with anti-magic seals as well though that only works in people way weaker than the user and seeing that the only female member had exited with Yajima outside and the rest who are inside are ultimately asshole idiots who pissed me off, he decided to make an example of them.

It he strike these weaklings with magic; they might misunderstand another person who has stronger magic than them as stronger than me and will send them again and again as annoying flies. So, the best way to stop them is humiliation. So much that forget about political matters, they wont even be able to leave their house again for some time.

I used magic aura to knock them out and used the infinite rope to tie each of them up in turtle bonding method. No comment on how I know that, anyway. I then removed the chandelier from the centre and made a circle with each person's face in the next person's crotch. Man, this is going to be funny as hell when they wake up. I then arranged the Lacrima which is used to broadcast messages all around the country.

Man, If you are going bad, you should go all the way, I guess. I then pushed the circle by which they started rotating.

I can see some of them almost waking up. I guess it's time.

I slightly pressed on my throat to change my voice a little to do it.

First, I activated the voice function of the Lacrima and just partially activate the screen. Now the entire country will see a blank screen with my edited voice.

All the people of the country suddenly turned towards the screens that appeared in the skies. They knew that these screens were used to send important messages.

"TO ALL THE PEOPLE OF FIORE, THIS IS A MESSAGE MADE BY THE CURRENT COUNCILLORS PRESENT IN THE MAGIC COUNCIL"

And then he switched on the screen and exited the room while waving bye to the councillors outside who had no idea what was happening. And before he left by the authority that Mavis had given him, he locked the door to the room and put the magic settings for it to not open for the next two hours. The councillors outside were confused seeing this as they recognised this enchantment. They knew that even if I injure the councillors, the chances of me killing them are none. So, they have no idea why I locked the room for such a little time.

I then let as I saw a guard running inside to inform the councillors of what was happening outside.

"Man, that was refreshing" I smiled as I began to walk back home
