Chapter 49

Today, the internet cafe was very lively, Kaede was already used to it, looking at thr customers who were happily talking to each other.

Now that she thought about it, the customers were weird with their fashion sense, some looks like ninja or pirates, there are also some who looks like monsters.

"They really give their all to their cosplay" Kaede praised them, she then looked around and noticed many were gathering on the T.V.

"I wonder what is happening?" she went towards it and squished her way towards the front, there she was able to see what was on the T.V properly.

Tanaka was surrounded by Whitebeard, Madara, Beerus and Hashirama, there was a countdown and only 20 seconds were left.

"Eh? w-what is happening?" Kaede didnt know what was happening.

"Hmm? Kaede-chan!" someone called out to her, Kaede turned around and saw a girl with short black hair extending to her chin and wearing a red framed glasses.

"Sarada-chan!" Kaede waved towards her, Sarada waved at her too and sat beside her.

"Do you know what is happening Sarada-chan?" Kaede asked.

"Yeah, Apparently they are going to do a challenge called manhunt, Tanaka will try and kill the ender dragon while the 4 old people will try to stop Tanaka from killing the ender dragon and if they werent able to they lose" Sarada explained.

"Oh! then I get it!" Kaede nodded finally understanding.

"Its starting!" someone yelled from the crowd and yes, only 3 seconds were left.

*Tuuuuut!

The challenge started and Tanaka immediately threw the smoke bomb he was holding into the ground.

Unlike in minecraft pc, in vr, everything is possible, such as grabbing and pulling, and so, Tanaka decided to bring a smoke bomb so it wont be unfair for him.

The 4 hunters didnt panic and observed the smoke carefully, waiting for Tanaka to move.

*Swooosh!

After waiting for a few moments, a movement finally happened, the 4 looked at each other and immediately surrounded the smoke that made a movement.

"Its a rock!" Beerus yelled when he saw what cane out from the smoke and just as he said it, a figure dashed away from the smoke from the other side and dashed as fast as he could.

"Damn!" Madara immediately chased after Tanaka who ran very fast, but they were st the same speed.

In the game their stats are the same, that meant unless they have an enchanted armors or potions, no one will be able to catch the other unless Tanaka made a mistake and tripped.

Hashirama didnt chase after Tanaka and started collecting flint, its fortunate that they spawned near a lake.

Even though they are not playing Rlcraft anymore, they still could not punch the trees so the only thing they could do was collect flint.

Though, its the only thing they added.

Tanaka didnt mind it as 3 hunters still chased after him, even with Tanaka's experience, it was very different from the pc version where they could bunny hop.

In the vr version, it was like he was doing a parkour, and the 3 doesnt even pale with him, there was a ninja who were chasing after him which was too damn good in parkour.

Tanaka ran for a few minutes before he was able to see a village, he checked his hunger bar and he only lost 2 hunger so he dashed at full speed..

In the internet cafe, everyone was cheering as they saw the fierce and exciting escape of Tanaka, and he escaped from the grasp of 4 war veterans at that.

"Hmm, this is really interesting, as everyone could see, Tanaka is going after the village, he may get sources there but 3 hunters are still chasing after him, what do you think Commentator Rimuru?" Gin who was acting as a commentator said.

"That's correct Commentator Gin, Tanaka would be extremely lucky if he could get a weapon from one of the houses on the village and if unlucky, he would be cornered and lose" Rimuru commented with a nod.

"Now! Tanaka had reached the village! oh! he didnt check the houses but went after the blacksmith! he found an iron sword!" Gin spoke like rapper, Rimuru beside him was spouting nonsense trying to hype everything.

The crowd cheered along as they saw how the hunters became the prey as they ran away from Tanaka who was holding a sword.

"Tanaka is going after Madara! oh!! Madara decided to fight Tanaka in hand to hand combat!! this is insane!"

"Oh no! Madara is low! he is running as fast as he could! his teammates are also coming! Tanaka had a bow!! Madara died! Tanaka went after the others! its a disaster!"

"3 players died!!!!!! Tanaka!!! you monster! reincarnation of devil! thats a great play!!" Gin yelled on top of his lungs.

"Okay, lets calm down now" Rimuru calmed Gin down.

"Fuu, sorry for that everyone, I got too excited, now, Tanaka is free to gather resources, what exciting plays would happen next?"

Lock down, no job again, im happy and sad at the same time, anyways, you know what that means everyone!!!!
