Alicia

As soon as I stepped inside one of the districts of the so-called sex empire, immediately dislike it, not only it smells repulsive but also, there was a lot of orgy happening in front of me, even though I caused a huge commotion outside, it doesn't seem like the people inside didn't notice not they cared as they resumed whatever sexual act they are doing currently.

"What a disgusting place this is." The smell was so bad that I had to create a handkerchief to stop the smell.

Celestine looked sadly at the sight in front of her, this place wasn't like this before Vault took over, it was more civil and peaceful.

"Celestine, what do you think I should do with those people?" I didn't need to specify who I was talking to, as she understood my intention very well.

Despite what they have done, she was still as merciful as ever and replied. "Please make it quick."

Celestine closed her eyes in resignation, I looked at her with a frown and thought. 'You're too good for this world Celestine, they don't deserve you.'

I did what she told me, I killed those who are 'guilty' as swiftly as possible, with my power [ Path To Victory ] it was very easy for me to know who is guilty or not, since it's also a form of [ Clairvoyant ], although it's not as overpowered as D, who claimed hers to be omniscient.

Either way, all of the people the 'path' deemed guilty has now been eliminated, to my surprise there are also few women in the group, here I thought only men are guilty in this world but it seemed not to be the case, you really can't judge the book by its cover.

"There, now let's move- hm?" Before I could finish my sentence, I saw Celestine rush toward a certain shop and naturally I followed her out of curiosity and obligation and what I saw definitely surprised me.

It was one of Celestine's former princess knights. Alicia Arcturus, she was naked and her body was filled with small bruises, from all over her body, although it's not anything major but the fact that there's a lot of them is concerning, it was as if someone punished her and started physically beating her.

"Alicia!" Celestine immediately tried to help the poor girl, well tried.

Alicia saw Celestine and then smiled, if it was a normal situation I would have thought that she is just happy to see Celestine, however, this was far from normal as she was filled with bruises except for her face, either way, this was a bit disturbing to look at.

"Lady Celestine! I'm so happy to see you! Are we going to do a threesome with Lord Vault today? It would be wonderful, I wish I could be at the top this time!" Even though her words are very disturbing considering the situation, the more I look at her the more I realize that this girl Alicia is broken mentally, her eyes were dead as far as I could tell.

Celestine never looked so defeated in her life as she saw the state her former subordinate was in, she felt pity toward the girl, because unlike her she doesn't have a strong mental fortitude like her, how did you think she managed to stay sane all this time?

"She's mentally broken," I mentioned, pretty sure Celestine is aware of it but I decided to vocalize it anyway.

Celestine sadly kneeled down to Alicia's level and started gently ceasing her cheek, confusing the girl greatly.

"Lady Celestine..?"

"Alicia I'm so sorry…because of my incompetence you became this way…" Celestine shed a single tear for the girl's cruel fate.

Then her gaze shifted to my direction and pleaded. "Can you help this child? Please..!"

"Like I said, no need to plead, I'm here to help you, that's what the contract says." I waved my hand toward her and then approached the young princess knight and poke my forefinger into Alicia's forehead.

The princess however misunderstood what I was trying to do and smiled at me and said something disturbing. "Are you going to do me?"

Ugh…this girl is broken, so I injected prana inside her brain. I was curious about the state of her brain and structural analysis and I found out that the reason why she's like this is because her brain is rejecting reality and forcefully seeing this situation as 'normal'.

I could even see some of her memories buried deep, it was truly something cruel and disgusting.

This might be a little cruel but I'm forcefully going to resurface those buried memories, along with her trauma, because it's the only way for her to snap from reality.

Similar to hypnosis, I unlocked those memories inside her brain, and as soon as I did. Alicia's smiling expression turned frown and eventually pure despair with that she screamed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Alicia screamed so loud that it almost broke her vocal cord, heck she might as well damage it that's why I healed it just in case.

"No! No! Nononononono!" Alicia's despair was clear to anyone, tears started falling from her eyes, however before she could continue her action, Celestine forcefully hugged the poor girl.

Alicia remembered that Celestine was here, causing her to stop panicking temporarily but the pain and despair were still there in her face. "L-lady Celestine…?"

"It's okay Alicia…it's okay…" Celestine gently said as she started creasing the former princess knight's blonde hair.

With that, Alicia buried her face in Celestine's bosom and started crying with all her pain, sadness, despair, and anger.

She let it all out.

I didn't say anything and remained a spectator and thought. 'Maybe I should offer her a chance to remove those unpleasant memories forever and maybe repair her body before it gets tainted…'

I could also do the same to Celestine, it's just a single snap and they're good as new, however, I'll ask later for their consent.

It took almost half an hour for Alicia to calm down, and now she's aware of my presence and immediately became wary of me, her hostile look was so easy to see, even a blind person could.

"Who are you?" Alicia said in a blunt, rude, and clearly hostile tone.

If it was any other situation, I might be offended, however, I can't really blame the girl for acting hostile knowing her experience, as I was about to say something to her, however, Celestine suddenly spoke. "Alicia, I know you have a very terrible experience with men, however, he's different."

Alicia looked skeptical of the claim, however, due to her respect for Celestine, she didn't say something outright rude and disrespectful toward me. "How exactly is h-he different from t-those animals."

She gritted her teeth with such force that I worry they might break through pressure, fortunately, they didn't but they did start bleeding.

It was fairly obvious who the 'animals' is, she's talking about Black Dogs and Vault, to be fair I categorized them as an animal that somehow gained intelligence.

Celestine looked at me for a bit, before shifting her attention back to the former princess knight and said. "Because he's our only hope, our savior from this hell, he's our chance of saving our people and the kingdom from Vault and his Black Dogs!"

"I-i…" Alicia hesitated, she believed in her goddess's words, but….she can't trust him! A man, who made her life and her kingdom a living hell.

At that moment I refused to remain silent. "You're probably thinking that there's no way a man like me would save you and your kingdom from the Black Dogs since it's men who did this to you and the people of your kingdom, honestly I don't need you to trust me, because, at the end of the day, your opinion doesn't matter, I'll act with my own accord and save this kingdom because it's part of the contract."

After that I didn't say anything anymore to the former princess knight and decided to rock this kingdom to its core, I left to exterminate the trash of this kingdom.

Alicia was stunned and looked at Celestine and asked. "W-what does he mean by contract Lady Celestine..?"

Celestine let out a sigh and decided to tell her about everything she experienced within the past few hours.

"Y-you have up your divinity for the service of that man?!" Alicia almost screamed at her goddess, but thankfully she managed to stop herself and avoid embarrassing herself in front of Celestine.

Celestine, however, was completely serious and replied. "Yes, I did."

"B-but Lady Celestine your divinity is the symbol-" Before Alicia could finish her sentence, Celestine interrupted with silent anger in her voice, one must know that Celestine never got mad, and seeing this made Alicia afraid because she had never seen Celestine angry, like ever.

"But nothing! A symbol can't save us! If it's slightly useful this wouldn't happen! My kingdom, my people wouldn't suffer from this fate!" Celestine never looked so bitter and continued. "Even if I offer my life and my freedom just so that my people could have a better life, I wouldn't mind that's why Alicia, exchanging my divinity for my people's happiness is worth it."

That made Alicia silent as there's no way she could refute her goddess words.

"Let's not talk about it, now tell me what happened here while I was gone." Celestine turned serious as she asked the former princess knight.

Alicia let out a resigned sigh and told her what she remembered, even though she's mentally unstable until a few minutes ago, she could still remember the events before vividly.

"So I disappeared for a week and that made Vault upset and paranoid. That's why all the members of my princess knights and Olga are here in one place?" Celestine said in surprise.

Alicia nodded and replied. "That's right."

Celestine blinked a couple of times and thought. 'I supposed since I was outside my universe even for a few hours, time moves faster here than there, and it's no wonder Alicia is here in Ken rather than the other kingdom.'

If that's the case then, this whole thing would be easier, she had to relay this information to Alex!

And she did just that.

A/N: Honestly, I've rewritten this chapter a couple of times and I felt it was off, and even now, however, I was spending too much time with this and decided to 'screw it!' I'll do this!
