Ch 19-Sirius Black

A/N: How to not be lazy?

After everything was said and done, Amelia and the Aurors hauled Peter away, Dumbledore and Minerva left along with them, leaving behind Lupin , Blake and Harry.

"Merlin, I can't believe Sirius was innocent and all these years I kept blaming him." said Lupin with dropped shoulders sitting on a chair.

"I should have talked to him atleast, should have got to known his side of the story too, I just believed everything they said." Lupin started sobbing by now.

Harry was sitting on a step nearby, silent, he too was shocked by all the development that had happened so fast, It was not everyday you get to know that the person who was accused of betraying your parent is your GodFather and add on to the fact that he had been vilified and forced to spend 12 years of his life in a prison for a crime he didn't even commit. Suddenly he had a family.

"I don't really think I can say anything that can comfort you Professor. I am not too good at friendships too." Blake said playing with his fingers

"I know what I have to do" said Lupin standing up and jolting out.

Blake and Harry stood up following after him.

"Wait Professor where are you going?" said Harry.

"Where I should have long ago." replied Lupin why stepping huriedly.

Harry and Blake followed behind Lupin for the next few minutes. Lupin lead them to the Shrieking Shack.

"The Shrieking Shack, people say its haunted." commented Harry.

Lupin's face reddened a bit at that comment.

"Well Ghost exist so i don't really see why people are afraid of Shrieking Shack." Blake said looking at Lupin, " So why here?"

"I think Sirius can be here. We used to come here to deal with my affliction. I haven't been in here in long. " said Lupin looking at the Shack where he spend a lot of time during his Hogwarts year with his friends.

As soon as they entered the Shack, a dog came up and leapt at Lupin, the dog transformed into a sickly looking, dirty man.

"Oh Remus, HE'S ALiVE!! HE'S ALIVE, THE RAT IS ALIVE!!" said the figure which all three people who just entered the Shack recognized was Sirius Black.

"I know, Sirius, we all know, We caught him." Lupin said consoling the sorry figure of his friend, a figure that differed so much from his memory.

"You what??" asked Sirius.

"Peter has been arrested, Blake and Harry here caught him." said Lupin holding on to the sickly figure of his friend.

"Harry?" a small voice came from Sirius's mouth filled with emotion who finally took a look at his Godson and the first thing he said was,"You look so much like your Father."

Sirius moved forward, limping towards his Godson and went on to hug him.

"Thank You!" he said sobbing," Thank you". The sob soon turned into a bawl and Sirius cried on the shoulder of his dead friend's son.

He then turned to look at the third person in the room and started walking towards him.

"Thank..." as soon as he was going to hug Blake, Sirius Black was hit by a "Petrificus Totalus" who fell on the ground.

"Blake!!" came the shout of Lupin and Harry.

"What? He's dirty and stinks, Plus he is not related to me in any way.... I don't see any reason to hug him right now." Blake replied in his defense.

"Sometimes I forget that you are a Slytherin Blake." Said Lupin who went on to free his friend from the Body Binding Hex.

"Well you certainly aren't the first Slytherin to hex me when I went to hug them." joked Sirius.

"We need to get you out from here, get you a bath, no offense but you seriously need it and proper grooming before you are taken to the trial." Blake said.

"None taken, 12years in Azkaban do that to you." Said Siruis with a little crack in his voice.

"Hmm, for now we need to get you a Lawyer to for your trial , well maybe I could do that how difficult can it be half the people in the Ministry are sheeps. Lets go, I'll take Black to the Slytherin Dorm to get Clean." said Blake.

"I can take him to Gryffindor's dorm" said Harry.

"And even I am pretty sure he would be hexed by everyone at his first sight thinking that he probably used Imperio on you. Atleast Slytherin will ask question and listen to me first." Blake said.

"Why can't I just take him with me? " Lupin said.

"Hmm, a teacher of Hogwarts getting in his old friend, I wonder how that would look to people. Remember people still don't know that he is innocent. " Blake said.

"Why will people not think that you aren't under Imperio? A random student selected by Black?" asked Harry.

"Two reasons, First: Why would Black select a Syltherin? For normal people his aim is to target you so he probably should select a Gryffindor who can get him in the dorms. Second: Everyone knows that I am too good to have Imperio cast on me." Blake said.

"Oi, don' underestimate me, even without a wand I can fight." Said Siruis.

"YA ya furball, you could still bite me " said Blake "Come on,let's go."

Blake separated from Lupin And Harry later taking Sirius Black with him.

"You know this is not my first time sneaking into the Slytherin Shower, though first time for the boys one." said Black.

"Really, you used to try to sneak into Girls Showers to ogle? I really can't imagine Professor Lupin doing that." Blake asked.

"Lupin was the Boy Scout, but he still joined us sometimes, You are young right now, you will understand in the future." said Black chuckling.

"You really don't act like a person who has spend 12years in Azkaban." Blake commented on sirius' jovial attitude.

"You are looking at it the wrong way, look at me like a person who just reunited with his friend and his Godson after 12years, A man who having had lost everything, his friends, his life just got it all back, I don't care what other think now, as long as the people close to me know the truth I am happy. Everyone goes through dark moment, its better to focus on the good ones, they are what we live for." Sirius said forcing a smile.

Blake was shocked on receiving such an advice from Sirius

"That's a good advice, but when we are at the trail tone down that jovial attitude, we need sympathy so try to appear as broken as you can." Blake suggested.

"Sure, how Serious you need me to be?" Sirius said.

"Really you gonna make puns now?"

'OH GOD, what have i gotten myself into.'Was the thought going through Blake's head

IT took almost an hour to get Sirius cleaned up, finally looking like a person. What came out of the shower was way different from the man before, he still looked weak with sunken eyes but one look at him and you would know that he must have looked Handsome back in bis prime.

"Don't I look Handsome?" said Sirius wiping his long hair.

"Narcissist much?" Blake said though he could not deny what Sirius had said, "Though my honest opinion, I thought you would be taller."

"Take that back, I have a perfectly good height." replied Sirius immediately, apparently height was a sour point for Black, "You aren't that tall too."

"I am still in my third year, I will have my growth spurt you just wait and watch." replied Blake, "You on the other hand, well life can't be fair to everyone."

"Rivers, is that you?" suddenly a voice interrupted them.

"Yo, Draco, what's up?" Said Blake.

"Who's that man with you?" Draco asked cautiously, his hand moving to the pocket of his robe.

"Oh him, you should recognize him, he is your uncle." Blake said.

"He is Sirius Black?" shouted Draco.

"Andromeda's or Narcissa's? hmm, considering the Blond hair I would bet Narcissa's?" asked Sirius taking a look at Draco.

"Yup, he's a Malfoy, and Draco don't worry I am fine not under Imperius. You should know that I am better than that Draco, I am hurt."

That did nothing to calm down Draco who took out his wand and pointed it at them.

"You move to the side" Draco said to Black and then said, "Blake come here."

"Oh Draco, I didn't know you cared so much about me." Blake said laughing, "ready to fight a wanted Death Eater for me. But seriously don't worry Draco, Black's innocent, here let me divinate tomorrow's Prophet's headline, "The Innocent Black" , I think I just passed my Divination without having taken the subject."

"I hope that Lucius hasn't spoilt you much."said Sirius moving towards Draco. "I hope you will have more Balls than your Father did."

"Come on lets go, Sirius." Blake said.

Blake and Sirius left behind a very confused looking Draco Malfoy.
