Daniel's Side Story - 9

"God, what the hell do you want from me?!" Emily finally asked in frustration.

This man made her uneasy. At first he thought, the man wanted to talk like two civilized people. They will clear up the misunderstanding, the man will apologize, and Emily will forget what happened in the lift, and Daniel will let Emily resign ignoring the fines clause.

'But, is that really what you want?' asked Emily to her heart.

"You know what I want," said Daniel.

Emily closed her eyes. He felt almost mad! This man and this crazy part of him made Emily barely contain herself.

"What if I refuse?" Emily said quietly without really looking at the man.

He shouldn't have asked because he already knew the answer.

"Then I will report you to the club. I have proof that you ran away at night. If you can indeed return my money, no problem, let's try it," Daniel replied with a sly smile.
