Daniel's Side Story - 16

"Well… so are we still going to dinner?" Emily smiled slightly and her tone seemed amused. Obviously he knew that Daniel was tempted by the temptation to cancel their dinner.

Of course. Shall we? Iya offered her arm and allowed Emily to hold her as they walked out of the suite and up the elevator to where the exclusive restaurant was.

Once they arrived, they were immediately ushered into a quiet area of the restaurant which provided more privacy — just as Daniel had instructed when ordering.

The waitress then came with the menu. Emily ordered soup recommended by the chef and fish as the main menu while Daniel preferred grilled scallops as an appetizer followed by lamb which is the signature of this restaurant.

Daniel then returned the menu book and grabbed his champagne glass. Across, Emily also did the same.

"Champagne?" Emily swirled the golden liquid in the wine glass. "Expensive dinner? Exclusive restaurant? Aren't you too generous?"
