Chapter 41

Rachel was still awake with the late night. Silence accompanies her in a dark room with the dim light of the night lamp on the nightstand.

The woman pulled herself up to sit down while pulling the thick blanket up to her waist. Leaning her back against the headboard, she stared at the bright moon peeking through the gaps in the curtains that were not completely closed.

Rachel took a deep breath. She still remembering what happened in Xavier's room a while back, which reminded her of one of the darkest events that tied Rachel to a prolonged trauma.

She pondered, trying to dive deep into her heart. She groped in her heart looking for an answer to how that feeling still reigned in her heart. And she couldn't deny that she still loved the bastard Xavier. She still loves Xavier very much.
