"Let's go to bed, Scarlett," the man whispered and immediately picked up Scarlett as if she was just an insignificant burden.

Scarlet put her arms around Aaron's neck and stared at him with sparkling eyes.

"You are lighter than I remember, Scarlett."

Scarlett felt like a stupid teenager when she met red. And as he put her down on the bed, carefully as if she was a fragile gear that would break easily, Scarlet rolled away. He buried his face in the fragrant pillow of the luxury hotel.

Scarlet's heart beat against the cold sheet, when she felt Aaron crawl up and lie down beside her.

"Scarlett..."

Because Scarlett didn't even turn around, the man grabbed her arm. Then turned the woman's body and stared at her for a moment. "Why?"

Scarlett hesitated for a moment. Then he shook his head. "No, it's just... it's been too long, you and I, we used to..."
