"You are right, I ran away this time again," Li Xia admitted as she clasped her cup of coffee tight between her palms.
"What happened this time? You can tell me anything. You know that," He said as he squeezed the back of her hand with his hand.
Li Xia looked at her father's hand. They were covered in wrinkles now. He was getting older every day.
His younger self flashed back in her mind. The stance was similar back then. When she fought with her mother over her choice of becoming a blogger. He always supported her against her mother.
She moved her gaze from her father towards the sky. The sky was painted in black color with small, lustrous stars filled across the sky. And moonlight shone above them. This was the view she loved to gaze upon whenever her mind was disturbed.
"Can I tell you something?" she asked quietly as she continued to gaze at the starry sky.
