Rising from the floor, I stopped Junior from turning me into his punching bag. I might not want to get into a fist fight with him, but I was not about to sit around and watch him beat me up for a crime I didn't commit.
Once I was back on my feet, I gave Olivia a firm stare, and only then did I notice the bruises on her body. Although my memory of last night was hazy, I didn't remember ever causing her any physical harm. In fact, there had been no physical altercations between us. So how did she get those bruise marks?
