Oh my god I can't believe this Rosie was right

"come on,I'm sure he's not that bad,YOU are just exaggerating" I said slightly emphasizing on 'you'. Rosie and I have been gossiping about Mr Lockwood for about an hour now. She rushed over to my apartment when I told her I was applying to work as his secretary.

" no, he is not that bad" she said causing me to look at her in shock

"He is worse" she shouted.

"Right" I said chuckling. "How exactly would you know? You've not worked with him before" I said rolling my eyes as I kept the last dish in the dishwasher and switched it on

"Apparently, people say he's the worst person in the world to work with. He fires almost 30 people every week and the longest time a person has worked as his secretary is a month and he fired her just because she changed the arrangements of the files in his office" she said with eyes wide open. She's been trying to convince me not to go for the interview, saying i should look for another.

"Okay calm down Rosie, I will look for another job if"

"Good,you..."

"If I don't get this one" I said interrupting her

"Ughhh I'm telling you it's just a waste of time, really. He's arrogant, proud and doesn't care about anyone but himself" she said tugging my hand as she said every word

"I don't care, and the pay check is really huge Rosie, once i get the job, I'll make sure to stay out of his way and do exactly what he says" I said resting on the kitchen counter

"Okay, do what you like, but if he fires you, don't come crawling to me to help you look for another job" she said as she walked away.

present day

" get out" he said still standing by the door.

"and if I don't?are you going to throw me out?" I asked with a smile.

"yes I will" he replied.

"such a gentle man you are"

"I certainly don't care about what people think about me miss valkov. out" he answered.

"yes it's pretty obvious"

"out" he said and I huffed then made my way out.

killian's pov

"Mr lockewood? " I heard a lady call me as i walked out of the elevator.

"I presume you are the new secretary? " I asked. rolland had told me he conducted an interview an he found the "right" person. he also said the rest left because they dont want to work as my personal assistant.

"Yes sir" she said with a small smile.

"Okay, my schedule for today "

"Yes you have a meeting by 10am with a representative from-"

"just forward it to my mail"

"Okay sir" she nodded and I started to make my way to my office.

"Sir? " Brielle, the Secretary called me. I turned my head towards her.

"there is still one person left for the interview. should I send her to your office when she gets here?" She asked.

"Yes and her personal information too" I said and left for the office.

I've never been spoken to so rudely in my entire life. even rolland doesn't speak like that.

" Evita valkov, I'm going to make you rue this day" i mumured to myself.

"are you alright sir?" James my driver asked in concern.

"Yes James Im fine "

"Okay so whose life are you planning on ruining this time? "

"focus on the road James " I said and he kept quiet after that. he talks way too much sometimes, although I dont mind. My driver and butler are the only people i cherish after my family. My phone screen lit up to display rolland's name. why is he calling me?

"killian where are you?" He yelled really loud Im sure even James heard him.

"What is the matter?" I asked

"Jayden just shaved off kayden's hair" he said.

"What?! where were you when this happened? "

"I was in the bathroom pouring my insides out, i think it was from the food Jayden prepared"

"What? You let Jayden cook? he's just seven! how reckless are you for fucks sake?" I screamed in pure horror. the last time the twins cooked, they almost burned the house down, with themselves in it.

"Oh calm down, i was supervising him" he said and I could sense that he was smiling.

" wipe that smile off your face right now"

"is there a camera in here? how did you know i was smiling" he said and I let out a sigh.

"I'm on my way home"

"Okay. I'll go look for jayden" he said and ended the call before I could yell at him for letting Jayden out of his sight. Jayden is the troublesome one out of the two and I wonder what could have prompt him to shave off his brother's head.

In 10 minutes we arrived at the house and I hurried in to look for the twins.

"daddy!" I heard Jayden yell from upstairs and before I knew it, he was already sprinting down the stairs with a half shaved head.

"slow down Jayden, you might fall off" I said but he wasn't listening.

"daddy kayden is trying to shave my hair off" he screamed as he hid behind my legs. that's not something kayden would do. I'm sure rolland caused this.

"rolland " I called and he came out of the children's room, holding kayden in his arms. he whispered into his ear and they both began to snicker.

"Why is Jayden's head also shaved?" I asked rolland who was already in front of me.

"Well I may have told KayKay to get his revenge" he answered smiling sheepishly.

"this isn't funny" I glared at him and picked up Jayden before he disappears.

"it kind of is" Jayden snickered earning himself a glare too.

"What? I mean look at kayden's head" he said and they all bursted out in a fit of laughter. I dropped jay and told rolland to handle things.

"Okay let's go now, the grumpy king has some work to do " he whispered loudly and they all broke out in laughter Again.

I chuckled slightly and then made my way to my room . I have things to do and it's 9.45pm already.

I showered, got dressed and then got to work. after about an hour, i remembered I have to ruin someone's life. so i called rolland to my room.

"I need you to do something for me"
