Chapter Ten.

LEONARD

I woke up with a slight headache but paused when I felt something in my mouth, I snapped my eyes open and was beyond shocked when I saw Diana's boobs in my mouth, what happened? I closed my eyes trying to remember what happened last night and everything came to me speedily, how my grandma drugged me, how I pleaded with Diana and had s*x with her even when I promised myself and her not to touch her. I felt my d*ck still stuck in her and I pulled out slowing which caused her to moan lowly, I stood up from the bed and walked to the bathroom, I had a relaxing bath before coming out and met Diana still sleeping which was a good thing because I don't know how to face her after having sex with her numerous times last night. It wasn't my fault, though, I didn't have any plans to touch her. God, I wanted to avoid touching but thanks to my Grandma who thought she was doing a good thing by drugging me.

After dressing up I went downstairs and met the family having breakfast, I joined them after greeting everyone.

"Nardy, how was your night?" Grandma asked with a grin on her face. A grin I so wanted to wipe off her face.

"It was fine, granny." I said with a lopsided smile.

"Where is your wife, son?" Dad asked, and I turned to him.

"She's still sleeping." I said and mum scoffed.

"Before she became your wife she was always early, but now she's showing her true colors, how can the daughter-in-law of the Smiths household still be asleep at this time." Mum said and grandma replied, "it was their wedding night last night so give her some slack." She said, and I could see mum's face fell taking what Grandma said into consideration.

"Leo don't tell me you…." She paused, and I signed.

"Mum please" Liam said and stood up.

"Gotta go, I've got an emergency." He walked out before anyone could say anything but mum being herself continued.

"I heard lewd noises from your room Leo, please don't tell me you slept with your 'wife'." Mum asked calling the wife part with an irritated face, but before I could reply, she continued, "and even if you've slept with her, you better give her some contraceptives because I wouldn't want my grandchildren to come from her." I stood up, getting tired of mum's ranting.

"I'm going out, but I will be back quickly." I went out of the house, walked to my car and entered. I put on my mask before driving out and what Mum said keeps coming to me, do I want Diana to carry my child or do I want to be a father now?

I stopped at a pharmaceutical store, I parked my car at the roadside before walking in, and the receptionist greeted me, asking me what I wanted.

"I need some contraceptive that is not harmful to the woman's body." She called someone on her cellphone and passed my order to her, a minute later the salesperson came with a wrapped bottled drug. After paying, I left and drove home, but please don't take me wrong, I didn't buy the drugs because Mum asked me to, I bought it because I don't just want a kid yet and a child at that with just a one-night stand between his parents without love. I got home and walked to our room and was surprised when I saw Diana still sleeping, sleeping beauty. I sat on the couch and brought my phone to chat with my manager when she stirred.

DIANA

I flustered my eyelashes open and groaned when the ray of sunlight hit my face, oh God! All my body aches and I feel sore. I tried sitting up but couldn't, what did Leo did do to me. I breathed out heavily before sitting up, and I winced when I felt pain in my core, all I need right now is a nice warm bath and have a nice rest.

"Here." I heard someone say, and I turned my head to see Leonard all dressed up and yet here I am still trying to sit.

"Take It, Diana." He brings out what looks like a pill and a glass of water.

"What's that?" I asked with a confused face.

"It's a contraceptive pill." He replied coldly.

"I don't want it." I shook my head.

"Diana, you have to take this pill, what happened last night was a mistake and I wouldn't have touched you if I wasn't drugged." He said plainly, and I stared at him. My brain picking only one word *mistake*, a mistake he said, after sleeping with me, he called it a mistake. I laughed at myself and quietly took the pill, throwing it in my mouth before gulping the water.

I dropped the glass on the bedside table and tried getting up, but all I felt was pain, serious pain.

"Do you need help." The audacity he has to ask that. "No am fine" I said through gritted teeth, and he shrugged then returned to the chair while I got up slowly using the sheets to cover my naked body limping to the bathroom, getting to the bathroom I locked the door and sat on the tube with tears pouring out of my eyes, how ironic my first s*x with my husband was a mistake to him but memorable to me. I took my sponge and scrubbed my body roughly, trying to remove his touch from my skin. I came out, and I couldn't find him in the room, I dressed up, and my stomach growled loudly, that's my cue to eat some food.

I got out of the room and on my way to the kitchen I met Leo's Mum.

"Good afternoon mum." I greeted, since am already married to her son I could call her mum right, a slap interrupted my thoughts.

"Don't you dare call me Mum, do I look like your wretched mother you slut? So, after seducing my son you think I'll accept you as his wife, you are nothing but a gold digging b*tch." After insulting me, she left.

I touched my cheek and winced, I chuckled bitterly. I guess I will expect more of this. I cleaned the tears from my face before walking to the kitchen and met Jeanne moving about with some fruit in her hand. Oh, gosh! I am very unlucky this afternoon and some maids greeted me and I answered cheerfully; I greeted Jeanne, but she behaved like I was a ghost, I asked a maid to prepare a plate of lasagna for me.

"Who do you think you are to go about ordering the maids in my house?" Jeanne flared up, and I arched my brows.

"I just asked a maid to prepare a plate of food, so I don't understand why you are so worked up." I said, then she turned to the maids in the kitchen.

"Nobody should serve this sl*t over here" She points to me "if anyone dares to serve her, consider your life and your family wretched." She instructed, and I couldn't say anything, all I could do was stare before leaving the kitchen. I walked to our room and was grateful Leo wasn't back yet, I sat on the bed and the tears I was trying to hold gushed out why am I so unlucky, first with my parents, then my foster parents who should have let me die with them and now my marriage even my husband doesn't like me and to add it all his mother and sister hates my guts, and they call me all sorts of names.

LEONARD

I walked to the room but paused when I met Diana crying, okay what's wrong with her.I stood at the door for a minute, but Diana didn't notice me because she was too immersed in crying, so I cleared my throat loudly, and she got startled before cleaning her eyes like I haven't seen her.

"What happened?" I asked, like a good husband I was and like my typical little wife she replied with just one word, "nothing."

"But you are crying." I pointed out, and she turned towards me.

"I said nothing, so that should not be your business." She snapped and laid on the bed. I shrugged and returned to my seat on the couch.
