Resting in my bed, listening to the stormy weather.
Rain falling, thunder gently sounding, I close my eyes and imagine each rain drop coming down from the clouds; And kissing the ground with a small damp, droplet.
I want to reach out my hand and catch each one, feeling the cold touch of the liquid mirrors; Seeing my reflections sparkling in them.
Frigid goosebumps, come across my skin, tickling me, I smile shut within these imaginations.
The wind blows softly, it enters my ears, singing soft, sweet melodies.
A calm, tranquil feeling, rests within my body, the embodiment of content rest; Which upon I enjoy its caress.
Stress fleeing, thoughts wheeling, I smile in my acknowledgement of its visit.
I have not felt this gentle breeze of peace in a great while.
Thunder slightly sounds, but it's a beautiful melody; Telling me it's still here, presenting me with its gentle wonders.
A miniature flash of lighting, exits the window, and into my eyes; I think of bright paintings, of light joyful colors.
Like a ballerina dancing upon the tip of a leaf, swaying from the tree, I feel balance and mindful wonders.
My head upon the pillow, and the covers pulled up to my chin, hearing the weather, sends the want of staying within my bed.
I have been awakened from sweet sleep, welcomed by the rain; Seeping within my hearing.
I know in a swift moment of time, all these beauties will fade, reminding me of them with a bright, warm sunshine.
