Chapter 85 - 6th Unit

9:30 Am Japan, Mato.

At the moment, Yuuki finished training everyone in the 7th unit progressing relatively well, especially Himari with her new form that allow to use every ability that she learns and even martial arts that she sees him doing. He found out that her learning isn't only about ability but fighting style as well which is why she's able to use the ability well enough like the original with only a few minor flaws.

Shushu was also improving her martial art and usage of [ Paradigm Shift ] mixing her ability with [ Ssamsu Taekkyeon ], [ Hanryang Style Pumba] and [ Silat ]. She has this many martial arts to ensure every ounce of her ability is used from her legs to be long ranges from size manipulated with a staff as well as close quarter from using [ Silat ].

Though, her main focus is using her legs because she already has some experience with her arms. Yuuki wasn't forcing her to master everything and only gave her some pointers that if she can become an expert then it would be great.

At the same time, their chief, Kyouka swordsmanship was starting to get sharper and almost ridiculously powerful, wasting little movement and more fluid than ever before. If she fought Fubuki with weapons without any ability and purely skills and technique then they would have a close match with the winner being Fubuki because of her experience and talent but it won't be an easy battle.

'She's too damn tough….' Yuuki said watching her finish practicing her sword technique while holding a piece of a large gourd that she destroyed by exhaling. He could sense her demeanor was a lot more stable and contained removing more wasteful movement from her swordsmanship.

He glanced at Himari and Shushu who finished sparring exhausted from the fight. Yuuki was proud of how far they are compared to the first time they met. It's exactly been 4 months have passed ever since he arrived in Mato and been in relationship with them at least official to be around 2 to 3 months now.

"Hey everyone, I have watermelon." Everyone stopped and turned to see Nei arriving with chopped melons. It was near the end of the summer but the temperature of Japan and Mato was at an all time high. They share the same season for some reason.

Nei wasn't trained too heavily and yet was trained several martial arts that are perfect for her namely Aikido or simply Aiki like what Gouki Shibukawa typically uses. Her size wouldn't matter if she can use their movement and weight against themselves. Though, she still isn't a fighter and only has been taught to at least defend herself.

Despite being a little girl and smaller physique than her fellow 7th unit was able to keep up with Kyouka's training regime that helped in building a foundation and allowed Yuuki to easily teach her since the basics requirements are present.

"Alright, enough for now, you girls can continue later." Yuuki stopped everyone and helped Himari and Shushu by healing them as everyone sat down in the poach area. They all grabbed a slice to cool them down making Nei happy and revive a head pat from Yuuki.

"Thank you for the watermelon, Nei-chan." He said taking a bite and Nei was happy to hear his words.

"You're welcome. It's just a small thing." Nei said as they all enjoyed their little snack.

"I heard that you're heading to the 9th unit." Himari asked since it was the unit that her mother leads. She still can't get over the fact her lover essentially took every Azuma the other night and is a bit flustered but it strangely makes her happy that he takes responsibility for what he did and doesn't sleep with women for simple Sex. Perhaps it was the old Yuuki who only desired strong women and opponents.

"Yeah? I want to give them some bento for lunch. I'm already planning to head to 6th unit, might as well. I'll head somewhere after lunch." Yuuki said while eating the watermelon and Himari simply nodded.

"How long are you going to be gone, Nii-chan?" Nei started to call him 'Nii-chan' and Yuuki couldn't be happier.

"Just a day or so but I won't be long, I promise." Yuuki patted her head and Nei simply smiled before everyone left to do what they wanted. Shushu returns to her room while Himari simply practices with Kyouka. Nei watched some television as it was summer break allowing her to have more free time.

"Is there anything you need, Y-U-U-K-I~♥️?" Tenka received a call from him and knew that he wanted her to come to the 7th unit. She appeared behind him giving a tight embrace while blowing into his ears. Yuuki smirked, then turn to face her pulling Tenka into his own embrace.

"What do you mean? Can't I just call you because I want to hear your voice?" Yuuki tease that made her giggled and pulled him for a kiss, giving short tongue action.

"Fufufu~ really?" Tenka knew that it was partially the reason.

"You know me too well, you know that right? Anyway, I was going to give bento lunch for your unit and thought I should bring some to the 9th unit. Hope you don't mind taking me there?" Yuuki said, giving Tenka some ideas.

"I can but what is in it for me~?" Tenka gave slyful smile and Yuuki chuckled.

"When did you start being sly? Well, consider it a favor then. But I know I'll be gone in a few days since I plan to bring my sister to meet my parents." Yuuki reminded her but luckily she didn't mind waiting.

"That's fine. Well, are we going now or?" Tenka asked.

"Yeah, I already told the others and I want to check out the 9th unit." Yuuki said and soon had the food stored in the capsule. Tenka took him to the 6th unit first where the place was a lot better and a lot more clean thanks to the android he gave them.

"I still can't thank you enough for giving us the android caretaker." Tenka said as she walked beside Yuuki to their dorm.

"No problem, I also benefited from him by seeing how Jarvis performed and improved his programming." He answered as someone at the corner suddenly popped out.

"Oh, Chief, Yuuki-san?" It was Sahara Wakasa who was wearing only sweat shorts and a tank top. Yuuki can't help but google a bit since she's quite beautiful. She has a crush on him but hasn't developed any romances just yet. Sahara wasn't bothered by what she was wearing being seen by him.

"How are you today, Sahara-san?" Yuuki greeted her with a soft smile.

"I've been good, how about you? Why are you with the chief? Are you here to deliver our Lunch? But don't you normally send Jarvis to fetch it?" Sahara asked, a bit confused.

"Well, I just thought of visiting. I'll also be heading to the 9th unit for some errands. By the way, where is Yachiho-chan?" Yuuki asked to spread his senses and found her outside training. He could guess she's trying to use her ability without doing her "Noble pose" and struggling to do so.

"She's been training ever since she arrived from Azuma. I heard you fought, Chief Fubuki and won!?" Sahara exclaimed amaze from the accomplishment.

"Too bad I wasn't there to see it." She was left to take care of the dormitory assisted by another unit since their area would be in danger if she was the only one to defend it.

"Maybe next time." Soon enough Yuuki went to the kitchen to place the bento boxes and decided to go bring Yachiho for lunch. Yuuki went to check on the time stopping young woman. He saw her standing still concentrating clearly fustrated and trying her best but failing horribly. Yuuki didn't disturb her, waiting a few minutes until she exhaled deeply allowing him to walk closer.

"Working hard, I see." Yuuki said with a smile while Yachiho simply looked at him before responding.

"It's you, how long have you been there?" Yachiho asked still had deep tsundere syndrome but was lesser than before.

"Long enough, I'm glad you took my advice. You do look charming when you do your noble pose but it's such a huge drawback if you can't do it." Yuuki said that seemed to make her slightly annoyed yet also happy hearing him compliment her noble pose even if a little dramatic.

"I know, I can't seem to find a way to do it." Yachiho answered frustrated from how hard it was for her to progress. She doesn't know that she's eager to get stronger but knows it's important, unaware it was because of Yuuki and his strange influence on their life. Yuuki place his hand on her shoulder, which surprised Yachiho.

"Relax, even how talented you are, it will still take a while until you overcome it. Don't be too hard on yourself." Yuuki comforted her calm and cleared Yachiho's thoughts slightly, making her blush.

"...Any advice on how I can do that mental trigger you suggested? You said you'd show me back at our family estate." Yachiho normally full on tsundere but she interacted enough with him and not to mention slept with him still have the memory of the night fresh.

"Right…don't tell this to anyone since I don't want to lose my trump card." Yuuki said that confused Yachiho then shocked, noticing the entire place suddenly appeared inverted in color reminiscent of when she used her [ Golden Hour ].

"As you can see I can use your ability." He said as she looked at him in disbelief and soon time resumed back.

"You use [ Golden Hour ]....is your ability like Himari!?" Yachiho exclaimed, trying to find an answer while Yuuki shook his head.

"Similar but no, it's more of Sub-skill that I got from eating the peach. My ability is too complicated to explain but now I have to pay compensation when I copy abilities." Yuuki gave a brief explanation.

"And you're telling me I'm the first person you shared about this?" Yachiho said.

"Yeah, I don't want to reveal all my cards. But I showed you my cards because I want to help you the best I can." Yuuki didn't even tell this to others, not because he doesn't trust them, but rather believe it was better when only few know about the true nature of his ability.

Yachiho was surprised and flattered that he was willing to share a secret that none of the others knew about. They might have slept together and had mutual interest. It doesn't mean their relationship is too deep that it was fine to share each other's secrets.

"Why are you going this far?" Yachiho asked, a bit bewildered by it.

"Well, there are many reasons, namely I feel responsible at least after what we've done and wanted to pursue our relationship. I'm not some kind of playboy who Cum and go." Yuuki explained adding a little joke at the end that surprised Yachiho and slightly blush looking at his face that appeared more handsome than before. She could feel he was sincere and somewhat reminded of her herself at the fact he's still awkward when it comes to sincere feelings.

"Regardless, I like you and want to see how things go from here on. Also, you're Himari's sister and I don't want her to feel sad if you ever get in danger." His words made Yachiho incredibly happy thinking about her sister and how much she cares for her. She looked at Yuuki and can't deny that she was interested in how far they'll go. Perhaps she truly loves him? Or maybe her feelings will come to pass? Regardless, it wouldn't hurt to try.

"Fine, show me how to do it." Yachiho said while Yuuki can guess she was basically accepting his confession. At the corner was Tenka who was listening and smiled.

'How cute~ Yuuki can be awkward when he's sincere.' She thought before leaving them alone and Yuuki taught her for at least half an hour given pointers and explaining how to make mental triggers. She was a genius and didn't take long to understand his explanation.

"Well, that's about it. We can continue this next time I visit but I believe it won't take long with your talent." Yuuki complimented her and can't deny that if he didn't have his wishes and abilities, the Azuma are unnatural monsters. Yachiho nodded as he left her to train but before he headed to the 9th unit was grabbed by Yachiho.

"Here, as payment." Yachiho saw his disappearing figure and decided to stop being Tsundere for onces pulling Yuuki and gave him an affectionate kiss to the lips that surprised him but was happy nonetheless.

"Hehehe~ worth it. Well, see you around Yachiho-chan." Yuuki showed a wide grin while Yachiho was blushing and face heated up. She watched him disappear then touch her lips looking at him with a dreamy gaze then smiled.
