Chapter 70 - Azuma Banquet Final

Everybody outside the pocket dimension was currently baffled at the sight of the surge of power that was unleashed by Himari who fought off Fubuki. She was doing amazing before but now she was fighting her chances of winning skyrocket even further than before.

"Isn't Himari-kun... Acting strange?"(Tenka)

"Looks like they lost their temper."(Kyouka)

She became incredibly pleased witnessing the awakening of her granddaughter. Tobera had low expectations until she saw her vitality burning with life that she broke through her limits and evolved into anew.

Meanwhile, on top of the cliff was Yuuki watching the fight unfold proud to see her unlock a form of power. He decided to train her and tap into that power when they return.

"I will not forgive any insults towards Yuuki and the Chief!"(Himari)

Fubuki immediately pulled her spear back as Himari appeared close to her having used [ Night storm ] the ability of Yakumo, a wind manipulation and propelled herself forward.

Having easily reached her Mother instantly took deep breaths where her heart exploded where stances were clear surprising Yuuki.

Fubuki eye widened in shock as her fist collided into her spear receiving explosive forces pushing her away while Himari immediately combo with another technique.

Yuuki was fascinated knowing that he did not teach her any of this and instinctively believed it is the nature of power as well being connected to him. It was far from perfect and only scratched Fubuki where she wanted to see more.

"I'll take what I said about chief Uzen back. So keep that in mind, come at me with all you've got."

Fubuki delivered a series of thrust that was faster and more precise than before where Himari could barely see it but her instinct kicked in and moved.

Her hands deflected Fubuki's spear as the force of their fight was affecting the terrain, tearing them to shreds due to the redirected forces from her thrust.

Fubuki evades her attack while continuously attacking as Himari deflect and take the smallest opportunity to attack with the two running around the entire forest demolishing the vegetation.

Himari then guard her face where Fubuki immediately extended her spear thrusting it towards her daughter who didn't react until the last minute as she seemingly saw a circle appeared below her.

In a flash, Fubuki was hit by series of blows that she barely blocked with her spear then Himari immediately spun her body and did a reverse kick.

Fubuki was able to dodge and kick Himari back as she winced in pain sending her daughter several feet from her but gotten back on her feet and rush towards Fubuki and Himari block her swings then said.

"This is the results of my training with Yuuki! If he says I am talented then I promise I won't disappoint him."(Himari)

Her mother smiled, acknowledging that Yuuki had smitten her daughter and she, herself, was interested in how he was able to make daughter last this long.

The two proceeded to exchange explosive blows which each attack canceled the force unleashed as Himari desired to win the fight but unfortunately she was reaching her limits.

"And our chief is…"(Himari)

Fubuki noticed her daughter had finally exhausted herself as Himari continued to speak.

"Incredible... She is…"(Himari)

Her Mother caught her before she could fall down and the overflowing energy vanished then said.

"It seems you've already reached your limit. But you have shown me... Your potential, Himari."

Himari had fainted as Fubuki sensed someone and Yuuki appeared with a blade in his hand looking at the two. He was slightly disappointed that the ending was the same as the manga but Fubuki had bruises and cuts from the technique used by Himari that was at least better than the canon.

"You've made Himari strong, thank you for that."(Fubuki)

She said giving a sincere gratitude while Yuuki nodded and said.

"No, I merely guided her, the one who truly is strong is her."(Yuuki)

Fubuki nodded as Tobera appeared looking at the two and said.

"Hahaha guess you'll be the new head but I want to see how the boy will handle himself against you."(Tobera)

She smirked as Fubuki nodded, giving Himari to her but not until Tobera restored her power to even the fight.

"You might need it. Now don't disappoint me."(Tobera)

She then left as they continued to watch. Few seconds later, Fubuki and Yuuki prepared themselves to fight.

"Are you going to continue to hide or not?"(Fubuki)

She asked while Yuuki simply ripped his shirt off to reveal the scar that Fubuki had inflicted and somewhat aroused at the sight of bare naked body while outside Tobera whistled.

"Hehehe now that's a man."(Tobera)

Kyouka wryly smiled while Tenka simply nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, after seeing the scare Fubuki immediately asked.

"How come you're still alive?"(Fubuki)

"I'm able to clone myself. Normally, scar would heal but I decided not to as a reminder of your prowess."(Yuuki)

"Is that so? Then show me how much you've grown."(Fubuki)

She pointed her spear toward him increasing her power at a hundred percent where the force was enough to shake the entire island yet Yuuki simply unfazed by it and took his own stance.

"With pleasure."(Yuuki)

He releases his energy and pressure where the island violently quake as the power unleashed by the two seem to clash where they haven't even touch each other yet already causing damage into their surrounding.

"What, they're not even moving yet already causing this much damage!"(Yachiho)

She was dumbfounded realizing how strong her Mother and Yuuki truly are while Kyouka and Tenka nodded but knew he was restraining himself as it's a horrible habit of his.

'That's it! Whatever the outcome, I'll take him!! A good seed like him would be foolish to lose!!'(Tobera)

Her doubt of Yuuki washes away and now vows to do everything to have him in their family whatever the cause. Meanwhile, back on the island, Yuuki and Fubuki were simply waiting to see who would be the first to draw as they were already fighting mentally where each movement was evenly matched.

'What kind of monster is she!?'

Yuuki thought to himself even though he was stronger if he removed the inhibitors but for someone to grow and reach this heights is simply unbelievable. He could also sense she had more to offer and was holding back like him. This pumped her fighting spirit as he tightened his grip then inhaled deeply causing ripples to force around him then.

In that moment shadow seems to gather around him as his aura becomes nearly invisible to Fubuki but her sharp instinct helps her react when the two finally engage in battle as she sends a series of thrust.

Unfortunately for her, Yuuki parried every single one as the force released by their attack was sent in another direction as it destroyed the surrounding trees that had already been deforested by the sheer might of their pressure.

'He's movement is completely different than before. It's more refined and coordinated.'

Fubuki jumped when Yuuki swung his sword horizontally, splitting the trees and cutting a piece of the cliff. While in the air, she spun her spear then extended her spear and swung downwards but Yuuki deflected it then in a flash of light time seemed to slow down.

Sensing the danger immediately dodge only to be grazed as the cloud split from the attack Fubuki looked at Yuuki pulling back her spear landing on the ground wiping the blood.

"You've improved compared to the last time we fought."(Fubuki)

"It was an enlightening experience. Shall we continue?"

She didn't say anything and immediately took a stance and Yuuki almost didn't see her attack and was pushed by her extending spear. Yuuki managed to escape then immediately send his series of slash while Fubuki did the same as the two continued to reshape the island.

Fubuki thrust aiming for his head as move his head giving a smirk then spun to slash at her neck but she managed to evade. They were getting faster and faster where both were empowered by their respective abilities.

"Wow, they're really fast. My eyes can barely pick up on how quick they move. How about you Kyou-chin?"(Tenka)

"I am able to see it quite clearly, thanks to Yuuki's training."(Kyouka)

"Umu, I'll ask Yuuki-kun to teach me how to do it."(Tenka)

"This boy keeps pulling stuff out of nothing. How come he is this good despite having so many fighting styles…unless."(Tobera)

The sudden realization done on her and made Tobera even more pleased seemingly found a priceless treasure. A naturally born fighter who beats talent over anything else. A natural born individual who possessed both talent and tenacity who sought strength and battle more than anyone else.

They bring out the best when in battle and shown as Yuuki kept evolving and growing as the fight continued. He refined his skills and power by holding back, adjusting them accordingly.

'Riu, if it's you, you've seen this boy's potential haven't you? A person born from 1 out of a billion.'

They watch as the monster fights with Yuuki sending a purplish slashes while Fubuki sends a golden light attack. Yuuki stepped back and began to use a technique.

Shadow gathered around then rushed towards Fubuki who witnessed the change immediately prepared herself as the shadow moved into his blade and swung his blade where Fubuki blocked at the cause of her body taking the impact.

The two explosive forces result in the ground to shake and disintegrate into dust as the debris around them were pushed away from them. It felt like two unstoppable forces being pinned with each other having no clear winner.

"You're a lot calmer than the first time we met."

His bloodlust and anger for the thrill of a fight was tame yet retained the same effect. Fubuki saw that he became more ferocious and deadly the moment he had mastered himself. He was more free as "No man is free who is not master of himself."

"Life is a teacher. The man I was before is dead but I acknowledge him forever."

Yuuki said accepting that he had died or rather Daniel had died and accepted that he is not Daniel but he is still part of him. Fubuki nodded as pulled back her spear then said.

"If that is the case then show me more of what you've learned these past few years."(Fubuki)

Her spear glowed bright then leaped into the air where Yuuki saw her switch into a reverse grip preparing to throw her spear toward him. He felt the intense energy surging from her next attack realizing this will be her first attack.

"This seems to be the climax of their fight."(Kyouka)

"Hahaha their next attack will decide the victor."(Tobera)

Back at the battlefield, Yuuki takes a deep breath looking at where his senses sharpen to astonishing degree, churning the energy into her sword.

Yuuki simply did a downward slash while Fubuki sensed the incoming attack and immediately initiated her attack. She threw the spear at blinding speed piercings through the air.

[ Sunset ]

In that moment, a spear explodes upon impact producing what seems to be the sun while the slash clashes with her attack where the darkness engulf the burning sun. The result of two incredible force clashing became a massive shockwave that obliterated the rest of the remaining trees as the island was completely turned to dust as dust and clouds hid the result.

Everyone watching in anticipation eager to see the result and when the dust settled gasped in shock as the island became flat and split into two. They saw Fubuki having her clothes ripped and had slash on her body yet still standing while Yuuki was no different as his body was burnt but was overall better than Fubuki.

However, Fubuki vomited blood as she kept herself standing using her ability but even then soon disappeared and was about to fall only for Yuuki to appear and stop her from falling.

"You won."(Fubuki)

"I did but I'm not planning on being a head."(Yuuki)

"But you intend to have us, don't you?"(Fubuki)

She didn't need to know as it was clear as she's an experienced woman and already seen through the kind of man he is. Fubuki pulled back despite her injury and looked into Yuuki then said.

"Then let me reward you."(Fubuki)

To everyone's surprise, she gave Yuuki a kiss that had tongue action much to his surprise but it was quick as Fubuki soon passed out from exhaustion. That concludes the Azuma Banquet, Winner Yuuki.
