Chapter 20

“Jesus, that was a lot of food,” Lee said, rubbing his stomach.

“I know. It was competition between you and Rhys to see who could eat the most. I didn’t think you had that much room in your body.”

“You trying to say I’m scrawny?” He gave me a look that dared me to agree.

“Oh no. Just greedy.”

“Hey!”

I dodged the swat Lee aimed at me and ran upstairs, with him close behind. Laughing, I ran to my bedroom and tried to close the door behind me, but Lee was too quick for that. He shoved me onto the bed and landed on top of me.

“Oof!” I quickly rolled him to the side because I was still bloated from our binge fest. But I wrapped my arms around him and held him as close as was comfortable. “My stomach’s still full.”

He kissed my chin. “Mine, too.” Lee placed his head in the crook of my neck and moaned softly. “Why didn’t you stop me after that third root beer float?”
