“Yup. So back to my point, if my brother can step outside of his comfort zone, then you can, too.”

“Is this a crusade, now? How to get Ross Haven the virgin laid?”

“It’ll be fun.”

“What if I have someone in mind already, but I’m too scared to do anything about it?” Did I just say that out loud?

“Even better. But since you’ve never been out there before, maybe you owe it to yourself—and this potential boyfriend—to make sure you’re ready. You should explore a little bit, see what’s out there, and then decide.”

In my mind, Lee was exactly what I wanted, no exploration needed. But he was right. I should at least check out the scene first.

“Hell, you’re a big, bad finance guy now. You’ve got this. It’s time you took care of yourself a little bit, too.”

“You sound like Rhys,” I complained.

“I’ll take that as a compliment.” Lee grinned at me, the twerp. He rubbed his hands together gleefully. I had a bad feeling about all this.

“That look in your eye scares me.”
