"EDE, I thought you said your daughter only has a mark of a Luna and nothing else?"

Right now, Ede was in the king's private tearoom.

Only the two of them were in there.

Since the problem with the Cage that appeared out of nowhere earlier was solved easily, they returned to the royal palace right away.

[I knew he invited me for tea to talk about my daughter's ability.]

Ede knew that Eclaire caught the eye of the king as soon as his daughter closed the Cage door as if she was only closing a normal door.

Of course, it was something only a Luna like her could do.

[If closing a Cage is that easy, then we wouldn't be fighting for our lives every single day.]

"We don't have proof that it was really Eclaire who closed the door," Ede said, playing dumb with a straight face. "Although we saw her push the door closed, that doesn't mean anything. What if the Cage was defective in the first place?"
