Deception

They had been played for fools, the trail Sayid, Maxixe and the others followed led to a dead end. 

Livid, was an understatement, frustrated Sayid swore at the bandits who seemed to have disappeared into thin air leaving not a clue to their whereabouts behind.

Such underhanded barefaced deception couldn't be allowed to continue.

Sayid vowed to end them all for if their treachery was allowed to grow given time they would be able to topple a monarchy.

As an enforcer of Winter Court it was Sayid's Sole responsibility and sworn duty to prevent that and he took his oath to the kingdom seriously. 

Just as Sayid was about to howl in frustration he got a mental message from his right hand Aster also known as his beta or second in command.

He was the second strongest in the pack and he was chosen to be beta because he and Sayid grew up together as children and have a close friendship.
