" How could this happen?" Li Jun was in disbelief.

" How can this happen?.... How?" he kept muttering. His ever-powerful system has become an energy-hungry monster.

For the system to operate it needs the energy which can be provided in the form of beast core, mana, and minerals.

If you have enough mana then it is easy to exchange if not then exchange with cores and if you don't have them then trade with minerals.

Minerals can be spirit coins, gold, silver, or bronze.

However, the exchange rate is like this ;

1-day mana exchange= 1 beast core= 10 spirit coin= 1,000 gold coin=100,000 silver coin= 10,000,000 bronze coins

( If you don't know beast core is found in only level 5 beasts)

And 1-day mana exchange is only for level 1 products as the level of products increases the consumption rate also increases.

Li Jun rubs his eyes and swipes the screen from screen 1 to end for a while hoping for a change but no matter what he does it doesn't happen at all.

He looked at the materials shown on the screen for trade and when he saw some of the familiar things on the trading platform he was angry as hell, "You thief! all my possessions from home...you gobble it up and now you are trying to sell them to me!"

" And why are there only Level 1 and 2 items for sale? Where are my other things, my 10th level Phoenix core, 9th level white tiger rug huh! didn't you collect those, you thief!"

" Damn, DuoDuo speak for goodness sake!" Li Jun called the trading system by its name. Yes, it has a name and can have good conservation with its host too.

Li Jun named it DuoDuo ( more-more) hoping to get more from it as its name suggests but it seems this time it will be him giving more and more.

" Host?" a confused mechanical voice rang.

" Finally, you have the time to respond!" Li Jun disapprovingly looked at the face on the screen.

It's more of an emoji than a face though.

" Well, host I didn't recognize you at all. Where are the muscles that you are so proud of? and how did you shrink so much?" a burst of mechanical laughter rang in Li Jun's mind making him grimace.

" You shut Up! And tell me where the hell all the things in the system go?" he didn't want to bicker with this shameless system and asked the thing that had been bugging him for a while.

" Ahem, well they are locked. You don't have the privilege to see that for now," DuoDuo informed.

" Why? I was able to use them in my last life but why can't I now?" Li Jun's brows furrowed. He couldn't understand this sudden restriction.

In his last life, he was able to trade all the things but in this life, it was not possible! How can this happen all of a sudden?

" Well in the last life, you unlock the system after you reach the highest peak of your power. I was in my prime too but now you are the weakest of all and alongside you, my power also regressed even then you can trade the items for Levels 1 and 2 isn't it already a boon? You didn't get to understand the priveledges system much in last life now we can upgrade side by side and you can understand it better," hearing DuoDuo's explanation only then did Li Jun understand how he wasn't able to use his previous life privileges.

It's all because he is now a waste!

If he was an ordinary man with basic things in hand he would surely be over the moon having Level 1 and 2 items to trade but his condition is worst of all.

He doesn't have a mana core, and can't use mana, as for magical powers and elemental power he can't afford even to dream. His shadow soldiers can't be summoned because of a lack of mana. He is dirt poor. He has a system but can't afford to use it.

It's like having A-grade rice but without the proper utensils to cook it. So all he can do now is just look and drool over it.

Seeing his narcissistic and cheerful host this silent and glum DuoDuo felt uncomfortable.

" Host, don't be so gloomy, You can always start new, and with me here it won't be much of a difficulty. You can once again reach the peak," DuoDuo did his best to cheer his host.

"....haaa... DuoDuo have you scanned my body yet?" Li Jun bitterly looked at the screen.

He knew if DuoDuo had scanned his body it wouldn't have said that and as he thought he saw DuoDuo's cute little face shake.

" No, I will do it right now. Why are you so gloomy today? It's not like you. You are behaving as if the world is endi....ng....Host! what the hell happened? How the hell did this happen!" DuoDuo couldn't believe it, it's ever the strong host and has now become the utter waste of the entire world.

" How can God do this to me!" DuoDuo lament, there is even a crying emoji on the screen.

Li Jun was perplexed by the action of his system. He knew his system has some loose bolts in its motherboard but he didn't expect it to be this serious.

" Why are you crying? Shouldn't it be me? I am now powerless not you!" Li Jun messages between his brows in frustration.

" Are you an Idiot host?" DuoDuo looked incredulously at his host.

Li Jun felt like smacking this system for looking down on him.

" Me? How so?" He haughtily asked. He was damn sure he wasn't in wrong.

" My pitiful self is attached to the waste of the world. Didn't you hear me when I said we will grow side by side! Even if you are a waste it wouldn't have mattered a lot but you are dirt poor too so how can you exchange things with me now. I would die in hunger!"

Li Jun sheepishly smile. How can he forget he is the main source of DuoDuo's energy. If he didn't trade and exchange energy DuoDuo can't upgrade too.

" Sorry, I forgot,"

"My Life! it is ruined."

" Don't be so dramatic!" Li Jun roll his eye and shook his head.

" Ahhhh!"
