Mo Chen's death

"We're done, it's over," said a voice that came from a phone in the hand of Mo Chen Yang. Mo Chen Yang is a 5'5 short Asian with black hair, he is a regular working citizen in China. His parents died leaving him a bit of money, which he gambled away.

Mo Chen's face froze as soon as he heard his girlfriend say those words, during Highschool, Mo Chen met his girlfriend in Art Class, she approached him due to his artistic skills. They talked and eventually became a couple, this was 2 years ago.

After 2 years of dating, Mo Chen never even got to kiss her once, but she would always want to spend Mo Chen's money on things, to be honest, she is a gold digger but Mo Chen didn't realize that until it was too late.

A few seconds of silence later, Mo Chen just asked one thing, "Why?"

"Mo Chen, you know I never loved you, the only reason I became your girlfriend was because of your money, now that you have nothing, we are over," explained Mo Chen's ex.

Mo Chen's ex hung up the phone before Mo Chen could reply, at this moment, Mo Chen was in an alleyway. Dropping onto the ground, Mo Chen's heart broke into a quadrillion pieces. He also noticed that his eyes were producing rain, laughing hysterically he sobbed for 10 minutes.

Falling asleep, Mo Chen woke up to find a rat near his face, getting up, he thought the phone call was a dream but then he noticed the alley, 'So it was not a dream, haha' thought Mo Chen walking out of the alley.

Walking straight without a purpose, he didn't notice Truck-Kun until it was too late. In an apartment, Mo Chen's ex was cuddling with a burly man. Changing the channel onto the news channel, they both saw an accident. "Today, a man identified as Mo Chen was hit by a truck and died," said the news reporter.

"Wait, isn't that your ex?" asked the burly man.

"Yeah, he deserved to get run over, can you believe that he thought I loved him for 2 years, hahaha!!"

The burly man didn't say anything and just changed the channel. Opening his eyes, Mo Chen got up immediately, looking around, he was in a wooden hut on a bed with wrappings around his body. 'Didn't I die?' thought Mo Chen trying to get up but when he tried, a lot of pain racked his body.

An old woman walked into the hut and quickly ran to Mo Chen, "What are you doing, your injuries are barely healed, so don't move," said the old woman pushing Mo Chen onto the bed to rest.

"Um, who are you?"

"Me? Well, it is a long story but I found you while I was washing my clothes near the river, I noticed you were injured so I took you to my house and healed you," stated the old woman making some medicine.

Mo Chen was confused, he could remember his past life but if he reincarnated then where is the sudden rush of memories that usually happen in reincarnation novels? "Where am I?" asked Mo Chen.

"You are in the country of Leopole, near the outskirts of Xong City," answered the old woman pouring the medicine into a cup.

"What? Is this not China?" asked Mo Chen, the old woman who had some Chinese features.

Looking at Mo Chen weirdly the old woman was confused, "China? Never heard of it, now stop asking questions and drink the medicine."

After drinking the medicine, Mo Chen felt dizzy and fell asleep immediately after consuming the drink. The old woman went out of the hut after Mo Chen fell asleep, waking up in a grassy field, Mo Chen felt some kind of feeling from this place.

He noticed a river and checked out of his reflection, he was a boy, well he looked 12 years old. Looking up he saw a boy in the distance, walking up to himself, he was surprised because this boy looked exactly like him. "Hello, I am the former Mo Chen," stated Mo Chen 2.

"What? What do you mean?" asked Mo Chen.

Mo Chen 2 said, "I originally died in the river, during my struggle for life, your soul entered my body and controlled it, I was pushed into the back of my or your mind since you are in control now, does that answer your question?"

"I guess, but where are we now?"

"We are in your mindscape, but enough talking, I have brung you here for a reason," stated Mo Chen 2.

Mo Chen raised his eyebrows, "And that reason is?"

"Two souls cannot exist in one body, so we have to merge, or else we will both explode and cease to exist altogether, do you understand?" asked Mo Chen 2.

"Um, I guess so, but how do we-" before Mo Chen could ask, Mo Chen 2 grabbed his hands and a force pulled them together merging them. Mo Chen saw Mo Chen's life as if he lived through it.

Mo Chen 2's name was Chen Mo (Yes real original, I know right) and he was a peerless talent in the Hanxo Sect located in Han city which is in the bottom right of Leopole, there are 4 major cities in Leopole, Xong is in the top left of Leopole, Longo is in the top right, Mania is in the bottom left, while Han was in the bottom right.

His Cultivation realm was at Qi Gathering Level 5, these are the realms if you want to know.

Normally, it takes 2 years in the sect to enter Qi Gathering beginning from Body Reforging but Chen Mo took 6 months to enter Qi Gathering just after entering the sect so many elders and people admired his talent.

The reason he was so talented is that...Never mind, I won't tell just yet. Many of the noble families in Han City hated Chen Mo because he was an orphan that entered Qi Gathering in 6 months but their kids had to train longer just to enter Qi Gathering.

Chen Mo was regarded as the most talented disciple and after he reached Qi Gathering Level 11, he was promoted to an Inner Disciple making more of the noble families jealous. Because of their jealousy, the noble families came up with a plan.

In the middle of the night, while Chen Mo was about to break through Qi Gathering Level 12, he felt his body tense up, a huge sword Qi slash came towards him but he was fast so he dodged it barely. His house didn't survive as it was split in half, Chen Mo jumped on top of his house and saw 30 masked people in his front yard.

They all were holding swords, which glowed meaning they were enchanted swords, a normal ranked enchanted sword could go for a lot of money but if they all had enchanted swords meant they are not normal assassins. "What do you want with me?" asked Chen Mo.

"Your death, but don't take it personally, this is just a job," said one of the masked men.

A masked man hit the masked man who talked in the head with the hilt of his sword, "You idiot, now he knows someone hired us."

Chen Mo sweatdropped but suddenly he felt death coming from above, he looked above and saw that one of the masked men was already descending with their sword glowing. "Oh, sh*t." Using a speed talisman on his foot, he dodged the Qi sword slash.

Chen Mo began running, these masked men were in a higher cultivation realm than him and he only had so many talismans. Feeling the masked men chasing him, he used another speed talisman and sped to the forest.

He grew up in a forest so he naturally knows where to go to lose these assassins then after losing them, he can activate the danger talisman given to him by one of the sect elders that once used the sect elder would be notified that Chen Mo was in danger.

The drawback of the danger talisman was that everybody knows that everyone in the sect has one so if you want to kill a sect member, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO USE THE DANGER TALISMAN. Rushing past a bunch of trees and making a left, the assassins were on his ass.

"This f*cker is really in the Qi Gathering realm? He is so fast," stated one of the masked assassins getting annoyed.

"He is just using the speed talisman, just follow him until he uses all of them, then he will die." Chen Mo used his last speed talisman combined with a swift talisman and he zoomed away. He looked at the assassins behind him and drew out a long breath.

It seems he would escape, but suddenly he felt something, his whole body felt heavy and he fell onto the ground. 'What, wait, this is...a DOMAIN?!' thought Chen Mo frantically. Sweating, Chen Mo looked around and began to get up.

The gravity was increased by 10x but Chen Mo was still able to stand which impressed the masked men. *Clap-Clap* Chen Mo saw an old man appearing from thin air. "Aren't you just a box of surprises, even in my domain, you are still able to withstand 10x gravity, impressive," stated the old man.

The old man had a white beard that was shaved and his hair was white, his body was burly. "Y-You are the patriarch of the King family, why do you want me dead?" asked Chen Mo clenching his teeth.

"Did you know that my grandson was about to become an Inner Disciple until YOU CAME AND TOOK WHAT HE DESERVED, you, an orphan, but that is in the past since you are gonna die, right now," smirked the old man.

Increasing the gravity of his domain by 20x, Chen Mo was forced to his knees, spitting out a lot of blood, Chen Mo felt his organs quiver, and the old man raised his eyebrow, 'it seems that Chen Mo is as talented as they say' thought the old man.

Walking to Chen Mo, the old man stood 2 feet in front of him, grasping his neck, Chen Mo's feet were lifted off the ground, and coughing, the old man stood victoriously with Chen Mo's life in his hands. "Say Goodbye," said the old man as he began to choke Chen Mo.

Throughout this entire chase, Chen Mo was never nervous but now he is feeling something he has long forgotten...hatred. Deciding to do something about the old man, Chen Mo said sorry in his heart to his friends and masters especially the sect master who took him in when he was nobody.

The old man suddenly felt something weird, then before he could react, Chen Mo used a Forbidden Art: Swallowing Void of 1 trillion explosions. Using his own body as a catalyst, the old man realized his cultivation level was going down, 'Chen Mo was absorbing his cultivation, oh sh*t' thought the old man trying to let go of Chen Mo but he couldn't.

It was as if Chen Mo was made of the stickiest material in the world, feeling the max cultivation Chen Mo's body could absorb, he exploded violently creating a 10-mile wide crater 50 miles deep, in the middle of the crater laid the old man who surprisingly survived.

The assassins all perished, and the old man's right arm also disappeared, later the city lord would call this event in history the Unknown Explosion. Chen Mo sacrificed his cultivation to use that Forbidden Art meaning his body is a wreck.

He even was teleported to the Langkawi river that runs through all 4 cities, that is how he ended up on the outskirts of Xong City.
