Oh Jung-sung was a veteran in his own right. He had been around the MMA scene for a long time. Starting as a heavyweight fighter, he had worked his way down to middleweight. While not exactly a prodigy, he was still considered one of the strong contenders in the domestic fighting scene.

Oh Jung-sung's punching power, in particular, was formidable. Perhaps due to his heavyweight background, some described his fists as blunt weapons.

"Oh Hammer" Oh Jung-sung.

Although the nickname "Oh Hammer" wasn't used in broadcasts due to its Japanese origins, fans all called Oh Jung-sung by this moniker. It referred to his ability to turn the tide of a losing fight with a single punch. In fact, Oh Jung-sung's fists were larger than those of most heavyweight fighters.
