The old house

Madison/Emma was waiting anxiously for her brothers to return. She stood near the window, peeping out on the road. There wasn't much activity going on. Suddenly she saw two shadows walking down together. By the looks of it, they were heatedly arguing. One of them looked like a woman. She couldn't hear what they were saying but she felt something nagging. It was like there was something familiar about the couple.

You are becoming paranoid Madison! she thought. You barely know anyone here in Kingston.

She was staring at the man. He was wearing a khaki. She could make it out in the streetlight.

He could be the one who exploded Lucas's house. she thought. But he can also be anyone who is not even aware of us.

Her instincts told her that she should follow them or at least overhear their conversation.
