Chapter 21: Beat your ass! & It’s just a Hobby

Izuki Midoriya POV:

"Gahhhhhhh!!!" Kacchan shouted as I float him up the ceiling. "Fucking nerd!!"

"Bakugo Katsuki is immobilized" All Might said through the speaker.

"Grrrrrr—Fucking stupid nerd!!" Kacchan screamed and complained.

"Hah! What now Kacchan, I thought you were gonna beat my ass?" I said, mockingly.

"Don't get too cocky nerd! I'll beat you next time!" Kacchan shouted as I ran up the stairs.

"Hey, Midoriya! Iida already caught me, sorry." Ochaco informed me while scratching her back of her head.

"That's fine, I guess we can't use the element of surprise anymore," I said, trying to copy Iida's quirk.

"Hey, Iida! Look at this!" I said trying to distract him. I created a disco ball using Momo's quirk and threw it at his face and blinding him. "Ochaco, GO!!"

Ochaco quickly floated across the room and touched the "bomb" before Iida could get his sight back. And— "Hero Team wins!!"

"We won!!!" I cheered to Ochaco.

"Yes, we did! I can't believe we even won against Bakugo, you're so strong!!"Ochaco praised as we were leaving to go to the room where the others were, to discuss our performances.

"Ochaco! We both won! As a team, I couldn't have done it without you!" I told her as we try to avoid all the debris from the fight.

"Awe that's so sweet!" Ochaco blushed while scratching the back of her neck. When we finally got to the others with Kacchan and Iida behind us.

"Haha! Good job young heroes!" All Might praised us when we entered the room. "Would anyone like to do an analysis of the fight?" All Might asked the students. The room was silent but one girl raised her hand.

"I would like to, please" Momo answered as she began to explain. "The 4 of them are very skilled and...-"

-Later-

"Wow! Momo is very smart and analytical huh?" I told Jiro as we listened to some music, she was writing a new song and I was really excited to see it. Jiro was a great singer. I wonder why she didn't just pursue a career in the music industry instead.

"Hey, Jiro?" I asked, she paused at whatever she was writing and looked at me. "Why didn't you wanna be in the music industry instead? I know being a hero is admirable but you do have other talents and isn't that much easier?"

Jiro looked away, I noticed her hands were trembling. "I..." she started. "It's my dream to be a hero..." Oh! Of course, she wants to be a hero, can't really argue with that, I myself could peruse other careers but I want to be a hero and save people... "... plus" she continued. "This is just a hobby...nothing else"

Before I could have the chance to ask her what she meant, Momo already called her to eat with them.

I sighed, it's not just a hobby, she's got a passion for it, even if she wants to be a hero, she can use her music to inspire people.

If only I can convince her... Or maybe...

Someone else can!

I picked up my things, to go with my friends so we could eat. I'll have to convince her some other day, I have much more important things to do right now...
