Chapter 20 - Retreat & Bored again

She proceeded with what I had said, and after a while, she understood that there was no point in hiding her name as that didn't benefit her in any way.

"I'm Valentine Luminous the Queen of Nightmares"

She said while standing up and going for a bottle of wine. Seeing that I didn't do anything, I looked at her as she moved to a shelf nearby.

"Are you not anxious knowing that your subordinates and subjects are fighting and dying there?"

I asked, curious, as she didn't seem too stressed by what was happening there at that moment.

She then proceeded to look at me and replied.

"I don't feel like I would lose. Your army, indeed, has more strength individually, but mine has more people, While having racial superiority of Vampire, the Regeneration will make it almost impossible to stop them."

Hearing this, I understood her confidence, but it still didn't mean she would win.

"That's true that a normal person would have problems with killing people who have powerful Regeneration, but my army isn't normal, and what makes you think that you could win against me?"

She smirked and said.

"Why would one of the older demon lords lose to no-name nobody? *smile*"

Indeed, I don't have any true reputation in this world, but hey, everybody knows bad luck and Misfortune. What they don't know is the fact I'm a living being. also, who said it's a rule that a no-name can't beat someone famous?

"It's all good, but while we fight against each other, my army would defeat yours, so it's still your loss."

She frowned but then eased up and said.

"My confidence lies in the fact that while I defeat you, my army will get help from my other churches. You may have blocked any way of transferring information with skills and magic. You forgot about technology, and I have ways to get information fast without using these."

Hearing this I finally understood her confidence and my mistake not to include technology in the plan.

I didn't think that she would use some kind of technology as in this world, every civilization that gets too high of technological advances gets attacked by angels who leave no traces of the said civilization, making everyone undeveloped in this aspect.

She, being a Vampire, not to mention a queen of them, had lived long enough to know some of the technologies that were lost in time.

"You indeed got me this time but know this Valentine. I won't lose next time."

I then checked the truth, and seeing another army, I proceeded to teleport myself and the cultist army to our base.

I also left a bottle of wine in the same place I was standing for Luminous to drink. There was also a note where I was complimenting her beauty and how great her mind was while saying I couldn't wait to see her again.

I did that as I would indeed lose while limiting myself to awoken demon lord strength as the numbers would be too high and my army would lose many members, so without cheating to instantly learn powerful techniques, there's no way for me to win without cheating.

While I was monologuing, Luminous looked at the note, which she then burned and took the wine for another occasion.

Two weeks later, seeing there was no information on the attack and knowing the church suppressed the news, I stood up and said to myself.

"Being the leader of a cult started to make me bored. While I could be one for years, there's the thing that makes me more interested, like messing with a plot, so it's decided to go back to Treyni and Tempest."

As soon as I decided to go back to the Tempest, I went outside the room and told a member of the cult that I wouldn't be there for some time so she could inform others.

And that's how I left the Kingdom to do something more fun, but before the fun could begin, I started to transform into my cat form and go outside the universe.

Now I was looking at the Multiverses of Tensura I went further so I wouldn't destroy the same I was in and while going around I found

Multiverse filled with reincarnations, so I observed them for a while.

One of them had the system and abilities of a shadow monarch. He made himself a castle. Another one forced himself on girls by using skills that let him make unbreakable contracts.

There was also a guy who was reincarnated as Rimuru, but he had a white body as slime and controlled his soul thanks to a skill being able to generate endless energy. Did I say he accidentally got himself a Tsundere from another anime and was simping for her while ignoring other woman who were intrested in him? Oh there was also something about meat buns.

Having enough of this, I devoured the Multiverse as I needed to get information about manas but didn't feel like just devouring only one person with one. I then made sure no manas got formed as I'm enough. I just wanted to know how it was made in this Multiverse as I have information on almost every manas in existence, but while creating this one, there was never bad luck or Misfortune in any Multiverse or Omniverse.

As soon as I finished, a guy who looked like Meatbun attacked me with others who appeared. These were Gods who reincarnated these people and said something don't you know who am I? Bla bla bal I proceeded to devour them and went back to The Multiverse I left from.
