Chapter -16: First Battle

The average strength of a goblin wizard is around C rank adventurer while the strength of goblin leaders reaches almost B rank... sometimes it is also B rank while goblin warriors are ranked as D+ rank monsters which is lowest in strength in goblins ....

These goblin warriors also looked like they were waiting to hunt something to eat.

Roy decides to wait and see if he can become a fisherman in a fight between the monsters....

Also this monster had those grasping pincers with which he crushed stones in his path while he carried them to make his way towards water, he had the long segmented tail, while all scorpions have this curved tail, the sting of its tail is so deadly that it is as sharp as any arrow that will pierce you like a piece of butter, Roy could feel deadly aura around that scorpion.....

... seeing those oversized bodies and the pincers with that deadly tail, Roy again felt that gaining a little strength wouldn't be of much help to him...

This scorpion looked very tough with its outer shell as if nothing was going to pierce it... and those mighty pincers could crush any weapon, without the help of the system he could tell this monster was of B rank and he won't stand a chance against him.....

Roy remembered that he had seen a mission poster on the mission board to kill a Kanda scorpion, and upon seeing this scorpion he was sure it was a Kanda scorpion....

Roy was waiting at his place quietly, not to be seen this monster... He was confident in taking all the seven goblin warriors together but he was not in the slightest bit convinced to actually face this scorpion monster...

The scorpion got into the water, but he never tried to attack the goblin warriors, just as like he didn't put them in his eyes from the start or can say that they were too weak for him to even act against them, he didn't show slightest interest in them...

After drinking the water, Kanda scorpion turned around and left the place, untill he was gone no one made a single sound.... like that everyone else was silent till that monster left, no one made a sound fearing that they would be noticed by that huge monster...

After the scorpion left, Roy could not wait any longer… he felt that if some other monster like that scorpion comes and kills those goblin warriors, then he will not be able to kill and gain exp points…

While all the ghost warriors waited inside the bushes to receive their prey, Roy quietly turned to their backs...

He approached one of them without making a sound... As they waited they choose a place at some distance from each other to hide them completely...

Roy took out his kitchen knife, which he had with him, kept it on his back with the help of the knife's normal cover and he had tied it on his back with a small and tough root, which was so hard that it could not break easily….

Roy took out a piece of cloth from his pocket and held it with both his hands, then from behind he tightly covered the piece of cloth over the face of a goblin warrior from front to back and began to pull it so that his mouth can not make even a little bit of sound...

Then Roy took his knife and put it in the neck of that goblin warrior… in that one blow that goblin warrior lost his life…

He heard the system notification and kept quiet and placed that goblin warrior on the ground while moving towards another ghost warrior...

He guessed that since this monster was about D rank, it would be great gain of exp for him.....

And thought that although 12 exp points was not much but still it can be skipped...

Roy reached another goblin warrior, but that goblin turned towards him and wanted to alert the other partners of his, but Roy did not give him that chance as he threw his knife at the goblin warrior... don't know if he was lucky, the knife that Roy tossed towards goblin got stuck in the mouth of that goblin warrior and with a very slow voice stuck it to the tree behind him, which was covered in the blowing wind and the sound of the trees and was not heard.....

After approaching that goblin warrior, he took out his knife from his mouth... That knife was now covered in green blood which looked disgusting, Roy decided that he will not return this knife in the kitchen again.....

After adjusting his breathing and calming his heart, which was beating really fast, he moved on to his third goal.

When he was on his way to the third goblin warrior, his foot stepped on a weak tree branch which broke and made a loud sound from which the goblin warriors get alert.

The goblin first turned to Roy and looked at him with some interest and then made some angry voice as if saying

'You weak creature dare to attack me, dirty little animal I will tear you into pieces'...

But the goblin didn't know that Roy couldn't understand him and he only heard some loud and angry voice

"Dhhk dhrah drah druuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh]."

When this goblin warrior raised his voice other goblin warriors also moved towards him… Roy knew that now he can only fight these monsters…
