Chapter -07: Registering as Adventurer complete

When Rika heard that he too had awakened, her feelings of mind became pleased, different from the previous concern.

They both walked towards the registration counter. There were five registration counters so that people could register easily without overcrowding.

He and Rika came across a counter that looked empty. When they reached the registration counter they saw for the first time what a demon looked like.

A girl with two black horns on her head stood. She looked almost the same age as him, but given that everyone has a long life except humans, she must have been around twenty years old.

She had a foxy smile on her face and her lips were looking wet and turning her into a sexy succubus.

Nana starts talking like a professional as if she starts recruiting employees.

"It was a pleasure working with you."

Nana was the calm and collected kind of beauty with an air of maturity all around her, even though her age was not much different from ours. She explained to us the basics of the adventure guild.

It seems that adventurers people are ranked on the basis of their achievements, with six ranks which are E, D, C, B, A and S. E is the lowest and S is godlike.

Obviously we started from the bottom, but still Roy was confident that in the near future his titles would be more than one.

With the system a transferred person has to start as Rank, E Class!

"Our rules are relatively loose, but please fulfill at least one request every two months. If we don't listen to you for long, chances are the Guild Master will raid your home."

"Please do not do that."

Life is harsh, is it wrong to stay at home to enjoy it.

"It's not that I don't want to disclose my information, just that there isn't a lot of information needed in this form."

"Oh that. That's normal, all you have to do is tell us your name and where you lived. The other thing will be confirmed by the Guild only if the information provided is correct or not."

"If we find your information to be incorrect or you have a criminal record, the Guild will deactivate your Guild Card. Since the Guild is a joint race organization, you will lose your identity and be banned at kingdom checkpoints."

Nana told us about other details like, the mission can be selected from the pin board and it can be taken to the registration hub for confirmation.

A person can choose missions according to their card rank or one rank above. If he wants to choose two ranks above the mission he must form a party with the same person who have guild card rank as the mission rank.

After completing the mission one has to show proof of mission completion. The reward can be taken after the evidence is confirmed.

After Roy and Rika filled the registration form, Nana gave them a blank card and chanted something similar to a incantation.

"This blank card is a Guild card. Its color will change according to your rank. Guild card colors are Black, Yellow, Green, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, respectively, according to your Guild rank."

"You must put a drop of your blood on this card to complete the registration. This card will be your authentication card in the future. If you have this card then your name will appear on it."

"If someone else wants to use your card this is not possible as it will be empty so you don't need to worry about losing it and being misused. But if you lose it please make sure to notify the guild , while it costs some money. It can be reissued."

Roy and Rika then drops a drop of their Blood Guild card and change its color to black. He could see his name on the guild card and the number of missions he completed there can also be found.

"Guild registration requires ten copper coins per person, so that would be twenty copper coins for both of you."

"But since this is our first meeting, you don't have to pay, I'll cover it for you."

Saying this she pointed something to him with her eyes.

In this world money is used in coins. There are three types of coins which are copper coins, silver coins and gold coins. There are also royal coins but they are not used as they are given by the rulers of the kingdoms.

Since people do not get royal coins easily and those who do find them never have any shortage of money, they are not used in the market.

In this world 100 copper coin = 1 silver coin and 1000 silver coin = 1 gold coin. Here a person can stay with 10 copper coins a day in a normal tavern which includes food for both the times. High end inns are priced according to their services.

"You don't have to do that for us. We can pay for ourselves."

Rika said taking his hand in her chest. It looked like she was actually bullied by Nana and was really jealous of her big breasts and fit body.

"Roy looks like your cat is wild. You haven't tamed her yet. I guess you're still not fully grown man."

Nana said, covering her face and laughing lightly.

"If I'm fully grown or not, why don't you check it out for yourself. This weekend I invite you over for a few drinks."

He got really excited when he heard her say that he was not fully grown.

He decided to teach her what it was actually called to be fully grown up.

"Oh my, is this an invitation for a date. I'd be happy to go on one with you. Let me see how much you've grown."

Nana said to him with his provocative look and fox-like smile. It seemed that she had succeeded in some kind of mischief.

After registration he said goodbye to Nana and headed towards the mission board.

If you complete missions in the Guild, you get compensation. If you fail the mission, they will charge you a breach of contract fee. Well, let's choose our missions carefully.

In addition, if you fail too many times and are considered reprehensible, your Guild registration will be erased as a penalty. When it comes to this, you cannot register with any other guild in any city.

Also, you cannot get more than one job and if you do not do a single job for five years, your registration will be cancelled.

If you hunt in a location other than the designated area specified on the subjugation mission, that mission will be invalid. As a standard, the Guild will maintain neutrality in battles between adventurers.

However, if it is believed that the situation will bring problems to the Guild, that is a different matter entirely.

After getting serious about her work, Nana explained many things to us. So now there is no problem in choosing missions.
