Sunstone [Key]

"Hot! Tss* Oww!" Roman shifted his feet around to deal with the searing hot coal-like stone beneath his feet.

Roman knew the moment he arrived here that he couldn't stay. This place was no different than Minecraft's version of Hell. The temperature here alone was no different than being in an oven. He was an average human being and he didn't have the inhuman stats of Minecraft Steve to deal with the hazards of this place.

Roman shifted his feet back and forth while shifting through the 3 remaining Unique materials he had with him. Now that he knew what these special materials could do, he was much more careful when he considered what might happen when using the [Key] ability. The 'Abyss soul' was a no-go, he didn't want to go from Minecraft Hell into an even more horrifying place. 

After a few short seconds of consideration, he used the 'Sunstone' material, which looked like solid hot plasma that was cold to the touch and fed it to his key.

Roman mentally commanded yes and once again he was greeted by an ethereal key appearing in front of him. However, instead of the key appearing to unlock a door to a new world, it instead approached Roman himself and inserted itself into his heart.

Roman's eyes widened as a sense of comfort flooded his entire being like he had entered the most relaxing hot spring. Feeling spread all through his body, before it faded again and the temperature around him no longer felt as hot as before. A transformation took place as his skin slowly darkened until he had a nice natural bronze tan and his hair changed into a beautiful golden color. His hair then grew thick until it fell to his shoulders. It almost looked like he now had a thick lion's mane.

Roman watched all these notifications with a complicated expression. He looked down at his now-tanned arms and held a strand of his new long hair. It seemed that he had made the right decision to use the Sunstone. It would at least deal with his immediate circumstances caused by the Nether's temperature. However, he understood now how unpredictable the [Key] effect could be.

If they won't take him to a different world each time, would he even be able to leave if he used all his unique materials? 

A shiver ran down Roman's spine at that thought.

"I suppose I shouldn't use the rest of them so easily," Roman said nervously.

To be safe with his remaining materials, He can try and last as long as he can here and level up. Maybe he could even use the [Lock] function with the remaining two unique materials to permanently unlock the weapon form. 

*Sigh*

Roman sighed and violently scratched his head as he grew impatient with the increasingly serious situation. He was just an adult shut-in who was trying to live his life in society more than an hour ago. Now, he had died, transmigrated, transmigrated again, and ended up in Minecraft Hell.

"Why did it have to be me?!" He clenched his fists in frustration.

"Arg! Fine!! FINE! You want me to be a hero with this joke weapon I made? FINE!" He said to nobody in particular while pointing upwards.

He grabbed a loose red Netherrack from the ground and fed it to his key.

"Change Key, [Rack Key]" Roman said.

The basic key he held in his hand transformed until it looked completely different. It now was filled with jagged tooth-like red rocks around the key ring end and grew to about double its previous size. The 'key' end of the [Rack Key] did not have any teeth at all. It looked like a small loop filled with spikey rocks and the other side was completely smooth.

"How is this a key? Whatever."

Roman's eyes hardened as he once again overlooked the cliff and the long fall to the lava pools below him. His fist clenched the [Rack Key] harder in his hand.

'I will survive this. Even if I have to do it out of spite.' Roman promised himself silently.

 He glanced at his status one last time before he walked away from the cliff and deeper into the cave made of Netherrack behind him.
