A few days had passed,Grayson remained in a state that was daringly close to death. He was unresponsive, unless it was to eat, drink or take the medicine he had been provided. Kupa oversaw the male's care, almost indefinitely, never leaving his side..
"My queen?" The Castle physician spoke.
"Yes?" Klovis questioned.
"Grayson's status has remained the same these past few days. We are unsure that he will ever be able to recover since it seems he has lost a critical enchantment." They spoke.
"What do you mean?" Klovis asked.
"When I was healing him,i found that his soul is in shreds, torn between this realm and the void. It's as if someone is keeping him like this." The Physician explains
"And what of my daughter?"
"She hasn't eaten or slept. It's as if she's waiting for Grayson to return. My Queen...We cannot allow the Princess to continue like this."
"That's not up for me to decide. I remember when I was about her age doing the same thing. She'll be fine. She's a Greencoat." Klovis affirms.
"I shall respect your wishes."
[IN THE END]
Gladya laughs some,as she had exposed a secret hidden by the amputated arm. "Never would I find such power over a soul...Lest I kept the Boy's arm...A godly soul literally entangled between an enchantment, the spirit realm AND the Stranger himself. How fun. Minecraft~" She purrs
Steve painfully appears,Grayson also entangled within him.
"Tell me where the cadaver is." She requests.
"Are you an idiot? Don't ya know it's bad device management to tell someone your IP?" Grayson asked.
"I'm with Number 2 here." Steve said.
"I thought we wouldn't call me Number 2." Grayson silently argues.
"WHO got your body to safety?"
"you."
"Exactly." Steve agrees.
"Oh,shut up. BOTH of you. Were it not for Steve's godly disposition I would have sent you BOTH to The Nether." Gladya growls
"Ohh because you STILL ignored the laws of the Gods in an attempt to be one yourself. You think you have The Power Itself to send us to a dimension NOT your own? HOW SURPRISING!!" Steve exclaims.
Gladya groans...
"So the spirit war continues.." She sighs.
[IN THE OVERWORLD]
"Is there any way to summon Grayson AND Steve without the amputated arm?" Klovis asked. "It would be a stretch, but with a little interpretation of the language used in the enchantment,I could fashion a temporary summons of both spirits. Unfortunately it would probably require much time to fashion the altar to summon them." The Castle Wizard said...
"How long would it take?" Klovis asked.
"4 Days,starting now,my queen."
"So be it. We must act fast and warn them before Gladya can use the enchantments.." Klovis agrees.
Without much hesitation, the Wizard got to work in an attempt to call both Grayson and Steve. The mere thought of it alone a stretch considering the interdimensional predicament.
[IN THE END]
The amputated arm was locked in place. The spirits remained summoned...
"Funny thing...We could leave right now you know." Steve chuckles.
"Well..you anyway. The problem is that if YOU leave,Gladya will be able to summon me." He chuckles.
"That means I'll be without combat training....and an arm." Grayson said..
"For fuck's sake man,its an arm! You'll get a better one! I promise!" Steve said with a gentle chuckle. "Besides,If you go back to your body now the damage will only be superficial. By 72 hours of being in the end like this the change is permanent, and your soul will basically tear across dimensions if you dare to leave the arm you've decided to inhabit. Don't even get me started on trying to inhabit the same arm you offered to me."
"I see your point..But I've never had my arm lobbed off in a way that tore my soul from my body,If I leave I have no clue of where to go spiritually." Grayson said.
"You'll figure it out quickly. It's a little weird but you'll make it. Fun fact about the spirit realms of all dimensions,Portals remain open, juust dont get spotted. Enders see the ghosts around here." He warns..
"If you say so..can you slow Gladya at least if the summons you?" Grayson asked..
"I sure do hope so..go play hero,buddy."
All of a sudden Grayson was freed of the arm,the rest of his spirit coming free and splitting from Steve. It was such a dreamlike rush of a haze...
Locating the portal...
He was teleported somewhere far from where he started...
All of his travels a haze until he reached Terris Magai. As Grayson drew closer to his own body, the world became less hazy...more sharp...
Upon locating himself,Grayson found Kupa sitting at his bedside..The half human creeper seemed quite lost...
Grayson crawls onto the bed, flopping into his body.
As he did,his senses were whisked into overdrive, blinding him..deafening him, intense flavors...
Then nothing as it all went dark...
For a few days, his dreams were more of a haze than his spirit walk, until finally his eyes opened, beholding a bedroom, and not an infirmary as he expected. He was alone in the room, and it seemed to be late.
"U-ughhh...what time is it..?" He groans..
His phone was conveniently nearby,on a night stand.
He turns it on.
12:30 AM
"Its 30 past midnight.." Grayson mutters. He gets up,finding he was an arm short. He wiggles the stub, for it to spike in unrelenting pain-
Pain that blurred his vision..
"Cant do that any more...Where am I anyway..?" He questioned as he leans up.
Grayson gets up,for a wave of nausea to wash over him, forcing him to his knees..."Ughhhh....what ..is going...on..?"
"Your soul is floating freely within your body. You cannot stand immediately after waking from such a journey." A voice spoke.
"Who..?" Grayson began, cutting short with a gentle gag.
"Serene. You've been out for a few days.." The voice said.
He looks up to a Villager, with dark hair in a standard robe. "What...happened..?" Grayson asked as he settles on the floor. "Gladya attacked Terris Magai. You were evacuated for the safety of the world." Serene explains.
"Wait where are-"
"Kupa and Alex? Worry not. They're asleep in their rooms for now. I must insist you return to bed. It is late and I am afraid you are in no condition to walk." Serene said.
"Bullshit..I lost an arm. This should be nothing..." Grayson protests.
"If that were the case you wouldn't be look like you're about to puke your guts up. Get to bed,go to sleep." Serene said.
Grayson sighs,"When did you become my handler?" He asked as he carefully returns to bed. "When you deemed it a good idea to sacrifice yourself for the greater good."
Grayson grumbles softly, like a child who couldn't stay up late. "I take it men don't have many manners?" Serene asked.
"Only when we don't get to be free."
