Kevin took the stairs downstairs. Actually, he hesitated before Myra's door and contemplated if to knock or not.
It was Monday morning already and Myra might been in a sad mood, judging the fact that she was used to working but she has to stop suddenly.
Well, she had been feeling down since Sunday as she refused to come downstairs to have breakfast and even had to stay in her room throughout the day.
Kevin didn't even catch a glimpse of her. He didn't want to intrude so he told Emmy to check up on her and she was always doing so until late in the night when Kevin eventually decided to knock.
She didn't invite him in and so he couldn't see her. They just exchanged some pleasantries and Kevin asked if she was good, right at the door.
When he heard her voice, he was sure that everything was doing well. So, he didn't push it and went inside his room instead.
And that Monday morning looked so predictable. Myra might even be crying inside her room.
