Unknown memories-I

*The upcoming scenario is somewhere in between the battle, that took place during Naruto's birth.

{Somewhere in the outskirts of the hidden-leaf village}

(Minato's PoV)

I was on my knees after teleporting away from the hooded figure, who was wearing a spiral mask through which I could see his sharingan, making his identity as an Uchiha known.

My thoughts were in a mess, as I divulged in the recent scene where we exchange attacks.

'My attack passed right through him!, eh...em but a moment later he made himself solid, and tried to pull me inside his eyes,...hah. what was that jutsu? hm..'

Suddenly in front of me space twisted into a spiral, from which the enigmatic figure emerged.

"heh,.. You shall not escape~"

The figure declared in a condescending tone.

'he uses teleportation technique too!, .....so that's how he was able to grab Kushina and move so quickly.'

I slowly stood from the ground, while clutching the kunai in my hand.

'he defeated the Anbu Black Ops assigned to lord third,...gone past the highest level classified barrier

and knew the Nine-tail seal weakened during childbirth!'

'Even more than that,....he undid the Nine-tail seal and tamed it!'

'And he slipped in-and-out of the village barrier without triggering any alarms.'

'As far as I know,....there is only one shinobi who can do all that.'

I looked up at him with a furrowed eyebrow and spoke in a deep voice;

"Are you,...Madara..Uchiha?"

The masked man removed his hood and looked at me,

"No,....that would be impossible....he is dead after all."

I spoke with conviction. The masked man tilted his head to the side and said;

"hmmm,...I wonder about that!"

"In the end,.... it doesn't matter who you are!....., but why attack the

hidden leaf?"

I questioned him, while he looked up at the star filled night sky and spoke in a rather amused tone;

"What would you like to hear, hmm...I could say I did it on a whim~ or that I planned it or ~ that it's for war or that it's for peace."

clatter* clatter*

The masked man raised his hand, in which there appeared iron chains which made the clattring sound.

'hmh,..either way he's not ordinary!...'

I positioned myself in a fighting stance while raising the hand with kunai in it.

'He can control Nine-tails,.....his teleportation technique surpasses both lord second and mine.'

The tension in the air rose to an extreme degree.

'He's got some dangerous ideology.....if I don't settle this now then I will have even bigger problems while dealing with Nine-tails.'

'If I teleport myself to the village,...he'll come to the battlefield with me!....it will be chaos.'

The masked man was rather relaxed, and was doing some warm ups, which gave me some time to think things through.

'If he is anything like Madara,.....he can't keep the Nine-tails under the summoning jutsu for too long!'

'I have to entrust the village to the lord third .....and just take this guy right here and right now."

(3rd person PoV)

The masked man attached the iron chain to both of his wrists and spoke,

"Now that I freed Nine-tails, there is no hope for any of you!"

After which,.. both the figures rushed towards each other, one having tri-headed kunai in his hand while the other had an iron chain attached to his wrists which was connected to his other wrist from his backside.

Just as both were about to collide with each other, the kunai in his hand passed through the masked man, as happened to his body.

However as he was about to go further away from the intruder, the intruder immediately stretched his hand and caught him through the iron chain, which solidified when he fully phase through him.

(A.N; I will call the masked man an intruder in further progression of the story.)

As the intruder was about to get hold of him; he teleported a few metres away from the intruder and began to think about the peculiarities of him.

'My physical attacks have no effect on him, but... he makes himself solid when he attacks me.'

'I have to aim for a mutual strike precisely timed.'

'But he knows that he's vulnerable when he attacks.'

'And considering the time remaining on the Nine-tails summoning Jutsu, he won't want a lengthy battle either.'

'Whoever attacks an instant quicker than the other will win this match.'

He stood up and began to run towards the intruder, as the intruder followed, ...both moved towards each other with the intent to win the final confrontation.

Just as they were in close proximity, Minato threw his kunai aiming at the head of the intruder, yet again the kunai seemed to phase through him as if he wasn't in the reality itself.

Taking advantage of his intangibility, the intruder drew his hand close to Minato, as his hand drew closer to Minato,.... Minato created his rasengan in his right hand.

Time seems to stand still, .....the kunai fully passed through the head of the intruder. at the same time the Intruder declared;

"I win!"

However the expected scene of him grasping Minato didn't appear, what caught in his hand was just the seemingly amorphous air....which left his grasp as soon as he clenched his fist. At that time he knew that he fu*ked up!.

At the last moment Minato actually teleported to the location of his kunai, which was still above the head of the intruder....and blasted the rasengan on his back, smashing the intruder on the ground creating deep crevices on it.

'Damn it! he flew to that kunai from earlier.'

The intruder thought with a sudden look of panic, due to the moment of surprise.

'Flying Raijin, level 2'

Declared Minato in his mind, his ultimate move that lead to his victory in the final confrontation. While the ground at the moment of the impact got destroyed into pieces due to powerful force behind the rasengan he created.

At the same time Minato drew the formation of his teleportation technique on the back of the intruder, which was now exposed due to the intensity of the attack.

Right after which he left the intruders side and appear some distance away from his previous position.

Everywhere he could see,....was just the dust caused by the impact on the ground.
