Kyler King 2

He let out a small laugh upon hearing his assistant's report.

He had been hiding there during all this time.

"My parents?" he asked the man.

"They have been in the country P for how many months now. And your father seemed to be diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Your mother and a nurse named Conrad had been taking care of him during those past months." the man summarized his reports before he handed the black folder to Kyler.

Kyler raised his brow to the man across him before he accepted the black folder.

"Hmm... Then, I have no problem for killing him. He's bound to die anyway. We'll just move it earlier than scheduled. Maybe, the heavens will reward me for killing such evil man..." he said while displaying thick murderous aura on the report in his hands.

"How about his personal nurse?"

"Sir, the nurse would only come if she will be called by your mother. If not, he's on duty at the Lewis Hospital."

"Okay, you're dismissed." he said as he flipped through the contents of his assistant's report. The mad withdrew his presence in the room discretely.

He made a thorough investigation as their individual profiles were in his hands even their schedules were in it.

The more he read about his father's condition, the more his smile grow wider. He is overjoyed upon reading it because he could easily kill the man that was so evil.

As he did not even spared his own son in his plot. He could not forgive him because of what he had done to him. If it was not because of him, he would've not grow up in such a cold and harsh environment. He did not have to fight for his life just to live. He would not have to strive hard just to eat and summon his courage when he was about to kill for the first time.

He did not want to kill anyone as much as he did not want to killed by that someone. He did not want to live in the world where survival of the fittest would be the basic law.

It was already 4 in the morning and Lyndon did not have an ounce of sleep. Aside from thinking about his wife, he was thinking about the things that he and his mother discussed that evening.

He hated the fact his mother was so heartbroken about loosing her other son.

But then, she needs to learn the truth about him.

"Mom, I... I... have something to tell you."

He was hesitant to tell his mother the truth because he was afraid that she will be angry at him but he harden his resolve.

"It's about Leo..."

Rodora halted her hands in mid-air while she looked at Lyndon with a sudden nervousness in her.

"What about him?"

"He's not dead..." he said in his nervous voice. The porcelain that Rodora was holding fell on the ground and broke into pieces.

She looked at her other son with incredulous-looking eyes.

"What... What did you say?" as she couldn't believe such shocking news from his own son.

"Leo is alive and he's in country A now. You want to meet him?" Lyndon asked while looking at his mother's reaction intently. He wanted to know if Rodora has a plan on meeting him.

"I would love to but how come? Why? I thought he was the one who was cremated?" a series of question was fired with Rodora to Lyndon.

Lyndon however was prepared by the hate he will receive but then, his mother just asked questions and he is bound to answer them with the truth.

"No... I was the one who shot him and replaced his body because at that time, he was being shipped to country X. He was saved by grandfather's organization and from then on, he was given a new name and identity. They also altered his face. I'm sorry mom, for keeping this to you." he nervously grabbed his mother's hand. He was so nervous that his hands went cold and his forehead is dripping with sweat.

Rodora hugged him and patted him at his back which made him want to cry.

"I know you hid this because you want to safeguard our family. I don't blame you and yes, I want to see him." Rodora said while sniffing.

"I'll arrange your meeting soon. Don't worry but he still blamed me for shooting him. If I haven't had done that, his enemies will surely kill him without any mercy and even do something henious to him." Lyndon explained.

Leo's enemies were all big shots in the Underworld and he greatly offended them. If he didn't shot him and staged his death and let his maternal grandfather saved him, he would be really dead now.

Sleep came around after thirty minutes of mulling over their conversation.

That's it...
