chapter 7: how does she have the same power as me

[yoichi looks at yadara and narimo impressed]

Yadara: Is everything ok?.

Yoichi: yeah i'm just surprised by how well you fought that man.

Narimo: Are you mad?.

Yoichi: what?.. No why would i be mad it was self defense.

Narimo: I know.. It's just you told us to keep our powers hidden and we didn't.

Yoichi: well still it was self defense.

[yoichi looks outside and still see's there still sunlight out]

Yoichi: well there still time for a training session.

Yadara and narimo: ok.

[yoichi,yadara and narimo walk into the training room]

Yoichi: ok first we need to find out were you two improved then we can work from there.

Yadara and narimo: ok.

Yoichi: ok yadara.. You're up first.

Yadara: ok.

[yoichi pulls out a gun]

Yoichi: i want you to try and disarm me as fast as you can.

Yadara: ok.. But whos going to time me.

Yoichi: Narimo has the timer once i raise the gun she'll start the timer.

Yadara: ok.

[yoichi raises the gun and narimo starts the timer]

Yoichi: go!.

Yadara: right.

[yadara uses his red helix power to grab the gun and disarm yoichi]

Yoichi: wow.. That's impressive.

Yadara: wait.. How?.

Yoichi: i've never seen a power like yours do that before.

Yadara: So I'm the first with this power that can do that?.

Yoichi: i think so.

Yadara: honestly that shocks me because i thought there would be more that had a power that was able to do things like me.

Yoichi: yeah.. Narimo what was the time.

Narimo: one second.

Yadara: i guess that's pretty fast.

Yoichi: you guess?.. Yadara that's the fastest i've ever timed.

Yadara: Wait, so I broke your record?.

[yoichi laughs]

Yoichi: no.. you still have a lot more training to do before you reach my time.

Yadara: What is your time?.

Yoichi: thirty attoseconds.

[yadara looks at yoichi surprised]

Yadara: wait.. How?.

Yoichi: Oh yeah.. I forgot you two still don't know much about my powers.

Narimo: When will we see your powers?.

Yoichi: the only time you'll see my powers is if its a life or death situation.

Yadara: so basically never.

Yoichi: i wouldn't say never.

Narimo: well show us your powers.

Yoichi: ok.. Fine if you two can get a faster time than me i'll show you my powers.

Yadara and narimo: that's impossible.

[yoichi laughs]

Yoichi: it's not impossible you just have to train a lot.

[narimo looks at yoichi like she wants to say something but she's to shy]

Yadara: hey.. You forgot narimo on the training.

Yoichi: oh.. Yeah.

[yoichi pulls out a gun]

Yoichi: Narimo.. Are you ready.

Narimo: yes.

Yoichi: Yadara start the timer.

[yoichi raises the gun]

Yoichi: go!

[narimo uses her black hole power to suck up the gun and evaporates the gun]

Yoichi: wow.. Did you just get that power.

Narimo: yeah.. I kind of been training a lot.

Yoichi: well i can tell your power has improved a lot.

Yadara: hey the time was two seconds.

Yoichi: wow.. Not too bad Narimo.

Narimo: i feel like i could have done better.

Yoichi: I wouldn't worry about it too much.. Since this is your first time trial.

Narimo: yeah i guess you're right.

[yoichi looks at the clock]

Yoichi: oh crap i got to get ready.

Yadara: for what?.

Narimo: Do you have a date or something?.

Yoichi: yes i have a date tonight.

Yadara: who's the lucky person.

Yoichi: don't worry about it you two will be able to meet her eventually.

[yoichi leaves the training room to go get ready for his date]

Yadara: we should spy on him.

Narimo: why.. We shouldnt intrude on his love life.

Yadara: your right but i want to see who he's on a date with.

Narimo: i am curious about that since he never really talks about his love life.

Yadara ok then we should spy on him and figure out who he's on a date with.

[yoichi opens the door to leave the house]

Yoichi: ok you two watch the house while i'm gone.

Yadara and narimo: ok we will.

[the door closes]

Yadara: ok we'll wait like two minutes then we'll go out the back door and follow him.

Narimo: ok.. But i still feel like this is wrong.

Yadara: it's whatever it's not like were hurting him or something.

[yadara peeks out the window to see how far down the street yoichi is]

Yadara: ok let's go out the back door and we'll follow him through the backyards.

Narimo: what?.. No that's trespassing.

Yadara: oh well.. No one will notice.

Narimo: [sighs] ok fine.

[yadara and narimo leave through the back door and start walking through people's backyards]

Narimo: this is so wrong.

Yadara: well if you don't want to come just go back home.

Narimo: no.. i have to make sure your not going to get caught.

Yadara: or you want to see too.. But you want to seem mature.

Narimo: ok whatever.

[yadara and narimo see yoichi walking into a restaurant]

Yadara: ok.. now we can run.

[yadara and narimo run out of the backyard and hide in the bushes at the park across the street from the restaurant]

Yadara: ok now we can see who his date is.

[yoichi sitting across the table from hatano]

Yoichi: So how's work been?.

Hatano: It's been good.. Just tiring.

Yoichi: well that's good.

Hatano: hows those two kids you took in.

Yoichi: They're doing good.. They have powers like how we do.

Hatano: Oh that's interesting.. Are they full bloods or hybrids?.

Yoichi: their hybrids.

Hatano: god they could be dangerous to keep around don't you think.

Yoichi: what do you mean.

Hatano: Well I mean everyone wants a hybrid.. like it would be dangerous because you could have hitmen at your door every second trying to kill them.

Yoichi: that doesn't bother me as long as their safe I'm fine.

Hatano: You really like those kids huh?.

Yoichi: yeah they have no family left so its the best i can do for them.

Hatano: What happened to their family?.

Yoichi: well their father was executed and their mother is in prison.

Hatano: god.. Well i'm glad they have someone like you to take care of them.

Yoichi: yeah.. I would adopt them if i could.

[hatano looks at yoichi surprised by what he's saying]

Hatano: wait.. You would adopt them?.

Yoichi: yeah.. There good kids deep down.

Hatano: but you don't know anything about them.

Yoichi: i know enough, Yadara is a tough person but inside he's as soft as a teddy bear and Narimo she might act like she's calm and collected but inside she's shy and nervous about everything.

Hatano: Well I could help out if you want.. Like i could help you train them or something.

Yoichi: so you would help me train them ?.

Hatano: yeah i mean if you their father figure i guess i could be their mother figure.

Yoichi: huh?.. So are you saying you would be my….

Hatano don't take it the wrong way idiot.

[yoichi and hatano start drinking ]

Yoichi: well i guess i'm glad i can take my alcohol.

Hatano: would you shut up i have a headache.

Yoichi: huh i guess this is why you dont drink a lot.

[hatano starts stumbling out of the restaurant]

Yoichi: wait you'll get hit by a car or something.

[yoichi grabs hatanos hand]

Hatano: oh were you looking for me?.

[hatano walks yoichi down an alleyway]

Hatano: ha.. I guess I'll have to kill you!.

[hatano uses her blue helix power]

Yoichi: wait hatano its me!.

[yadara and narimo see yoichis date try and kill him]

Yadara: wait yoichi we'll help.

[yoichi uses his red helix power to block hatanos power]

Narimo: wait yadara you can't just….

Yoichi: were you two spying on me?.

Narimo: uh.. No we were just on a walk.

Yoichi: come on you two i thought you two were at home.

Yadara: we wanted to see who your date was.

Yoichi: i was bringing her home tonight to meet you two anyways.

Narimo: oh.. Ok.

[hatano passes out]

Yoichi: ok while we still have time we need to get her home.

Yadara and narimo: ok.

[yoichi carries hatano in his arms and runs home while yadara and narimo try and keep up]

[yoichi opens the house door and puts hatano on the couch]

Yoichi: well as long as she's ok I'm fine.

[yadara and narimo run inside the house]

Yoichi: what took you two so long.

Yadara: what how do you think we can catch up to you.

Narimo: yeah.. Your too fast.

Yoichi: i wasn't even going full speed.

[hatano wakes up]

Hatano: were am i?.

Yoichi: hey its ok.. You just drank a little too much.

Hatano: are we at my place?.

Yoichi: no your at my place remember i was going to introduce you to yadara and narimo.

Hatano: oh yeah.. I guess i forgot.

Yadara: hey is anyone going to tell us who this lady is.

Yoichi: guys chill out give her some time.

Hatano its ok.. Im hatano sugi and ill be helping yoichi train you two.

Yadara: ok i have a question.. Why do you have the same power as me.

Hatano: well im…..

Yoichi: ok thats enough you two need to go to bed.

Yadara: but were not kids.. I want to know why she has the same powers as me.

Yoichi: you'll learn more later.. Right now she's still a little drunk.

Narimo: yadara lets just leave her alone for right now maybe she'll give us the wrong information.

Yadara: yeah your right.

[yadara and narimo go upstairs to their rooms]
