While little Lillie was swirling with joy for seeing her aunt again after so long, Evelyn was crumbling inside while holding her. She was contemplating what kind of story she should tell the girl about the whereabouts of her parents.

"Aunt Evie, when you take me home today will you be staying with us today?" Lillie asked innocently with much expectation.

At her question, Evie didn't know what to say to her for a while before deciding on something. "No sweetie I won't be staying with you today," she said making the little girl frown a little.

"why auntie? why won't stay with us? don't you love us anymore?" she asked with glassy eyes, almost crying.

Evie looked at her and smiled at her. How could she not love them when they were the only family that she had? "No sweetie, I still love you. Why I said I won't be staying with you is because I want you to come and stay with me instead. Don't you like that?" She asked.
