Temptations Wouldn't Work
Although it wasn't that pronounced, Melody was still affected by the Dragon's Vein's Qi. Rather than it remaining in her system, it was closer to an aftereffect. As such, not even Yinuo was able to detect it.
But that was a problem in and of itself.
*Rustle!*
"...?"
Yinuo started to hear Melody removing her clothes! It was too early for her to go to sleep, however. 'Is she about to take a bath? Then why take off her clothes out here and not inside?'
Melody stripped down in one go, leaving only her underwear on. No, she even began removing them, making Yinuo awkwardly shift around on the bed, turning her back against Melody to tell her, "I'm not looking," indirectly.
The sound of rustling clothes continued for a while, until a few minutes later, when it all stopped. Silence spread in the room, with nothing but Melody and Yinuo's breathing left audible.
*Rustle!* *Thud!* *Creak!*
