Quinlan's battle continued for a while.
Every round, the opponent was getting more powerful than before. The first one, the tiger, was just around the Early Golden Core Stage, with the boar at the Middle Golden Core Stage. However, the third one, a gigantic snake monster spanning over 50 meters, jumped a level and was at the Peak Golden Core Stage instead!
Quinlan had a hard time fighting it, as it was practically at the same level as he was already. Its speed and strength were almost equal to his, and its endurance was even greater. As expected of a monster.
However, a monster is a monster. Although it could be intelligent, it wouldn't be smarter than a human cultivator. After figuring out its weak spot, the giant snake fell soon after.
