THE STORM IS ON ITS WAY

'Please come to me!.. Come to me...

'Help me...

'Charlie, Wake up!

'Save me from this agony! Relieve me from this pain!'

The voices are pulling me towards them. This place is quite dark. I can't see anything. My heart raced as I looked around, trying to make sense of where I am. The darkness seemed to engulf me, suffocating me with its weight.

What should I do now?

Where should I go?

I'm screaming, but nothing comes out of my mouth.

'You must avenge my death, Charlie, my son.'

I'm not sure where these noises are coming from. I need to get out as soon as possible. I reached out my hand, hoping to find a wall or a doorframe, anything to anchor myself. My fingers brushed against something cold and hard, and I jumped in surprise. I hesitated, but my curiosity spurred me on, and I ran my hand along the surface.

"Hurry up! Look, someone is here."

"Oh certainly, we must help him."

It's a maze that I can't get out of. I wandered through the maze, trying door after door, but none of them led anywhere. I felt I was going in circles, my sense of direction completely gone. Panic gripped me as I realized I might be trapped in this maze forever.

A light appeared out of nowhere. I followed the light until it led me to a large door where I could hear voices chanting my name. The moment I opened the door, a blinding light struck my face.

"Look, this youngster is starting to wake up."

"Listen, brother, are you alright?"

My eyes instantly opened, and I noticed two men staring directly at me. They were dressed in expensive clothing. Moreover, they had a tall build.

"How did you tumble down into the well?''

''What... a well?''

I looked around and saw myself injured, lying flat on the ground in a tiny building having no roof, allowing me to see the night sky. The silvery moon and a hundred or more little stars are scattered over the starry night sky, flashing brightly in an enchanting way. The view is incredibly captivating.

''Yeah, we found you unconscious in the well. You kept calling someone by the name of David.''

I recall the incident from yesterday, how I fell into the well.

David! you're finished. You must pay the price. I'm not going to let you off so easily this time.

''Thank you so much; you have my eternal gratitude. I have nothing to offer you, but if I ever get the opportunity, I will compensate you both for saving my life. I better get going now.''

I hastily departed for my house after saying goodbye to them.

I eventually made it home and noticed the butler talking on the phone at the main entrance. When he saw me in this state, he was shocked, to the point that his jaw dropped open.

''What happened to you, Young Master? And how did you get these wounds?'' He inquired anxiously.

''Can you tell me where David is?''

''He left soon after you left, and we haven't heard from him since."

My suspicion turned to reality the moment I heard this. So David is the real culprit.

''Shit! That jerk got away, just like I predicted.'' I stomped in.

I started throwing everything in front of me.

''What in the world are you doing?'' While standing on the stairwell in a hallway, my sister began yelling at me.

''You don't know shit about anything. I strongly believe you are all in on it.''

''Wha-'' I shut her off.

''Please, for the love of God, I beg you to leave me alone like you always do.''

It's after midnight. The wind is blowing hard. I kept having flashbacks from yesterday's incident. The wind is bothering me. It appears that a storm is on its way. Both the weather and my life are becoming worse. I must close the window.

'Why does this stuff keep happening to me? Am I entitled to all these?

All of this is too much for me to bear.'

Hold up! Who the heck opened my room's window?

''Butler Charles!... Mr. Charles?'' Now he can't respond.

'Just great' I muttered to myself as I went over to close the window.

'What have I done wrong- AHH!' I almost tripped over.

For heaven's sake! Can things get any worse?

This world will not let me live in peace. Why was I even born?

What the hell is this thing now?

I picked the thing up that was beneath my feet.

A ring?

It is gleaming brightly, but it is not mine.

Whose is it? And how the heck did this ring end up in my room?

Did someone enter my room when I was not there?

Ugh, I hate my life and this stupid ring.

I inspected the ring closely and finally figured out who it belonged to.
