Meeting the council

"So will we be doing this the easy way or the hard way?" Mikax asked the elf behind the desk.

"They want to speak to you so the answer is obvious that I'll help. They aren't all just sitting around waiting for you unfortunately so I'll have to ask you to be patient. I am Jonik. For the time being, I'll be your escort." The elf behind the desk introduced himself before dismissing the other. Jonik had never seen his subordinate clear out of a room so fast, it made him wonder how horrific a scene he had witnessed was.

"How long will they need? I am on a time frame here." Mikax didn't care about their schedules they needed to clear them as far as he was concerned.

Jonik had never seen someone being so impatient before when the other's actions clearly would warrant a negative reaction. If he murdered and tortured the guards like he said, he would be lucky to not be sentenced to death.
