One by one, the hunters succumbed to Callan's influence, slipping deeper into a trance-like sleep. Their breathing slowed, and their bodies went slack.
"Ah, look at those sleeping beauties," Callan said sarcastically.
Matthew couldn't help but smirk at Callan's quip. "They really are sleeping.
Ronan stepped forward, inspecting the fallen hunters. "You really did a number on them," he said, shaking his head in disbelief. "This is incredible."
Callan shrugged, a smug grin on his face. "Right now, they are in a world full of horrible nightmares. And the best part is, they won't be able to wake up any time soon."
As if to prove his point, one of them groaned loudly, a pained expression on his face.
Matthew nodded, his expression serious. "Serves them right. Callan, how long do you think they'll be out?"
