Chapter 179 I LOVE YOU MORE

CARL’S POV

I slipped through the window, my body hitting the floor. I breathed out a sigh of relief as I rose up from the floor, and dusted the dirt away from my shirt. I looked around the room, one more time to confirm if Elliot was here.

Thankfully, he wasn’t.

I quickly peeled off everything item of clothing I had on, and slipped on a robe. I needed to act and look like I had never left the room before he came back. I quickly changed back to my original form, but the make up I had applied on my face was still there.

I swiped some wipes off the table and sat in front of the vanity mirror. I had applied on some heavy make up, just in case someone managed to recognise me through the disguise. I wiped my forehead, and slowly went down to my eyebrows.

I wiped of the mascara, and just as I was about to wipe off the red lipstick, I began to hear the locks on the door click. I froze, unable to move as I watched the door unlock. The door clicked, and swung open.
