53. The Talk

As Erik stepped through the shimmering gate, he found himself back in his own universe. He was transported to his stealth ship, where he had called out to Watcher to summon him to his domain.

He really wanted to meet Wanda instantly and hug her into a tight embrace. However, he was thinking of how to tell his deeds... 

He pondered about this as he headed to the ship's bathroom, cleaning himself off the grim from the battle. After he got ready, he levitated above the floor and finally headed towards the exit of the ship. Leaving the ship, he took up speed and flew straight toward the spot where he left Wanda.

As he reached closer to the destination, he could already see her silhouette. 

Wanda paced anxiously in the middle of the forest where he left her before. Well, for Erik it may have been over a day, but for her, not even 15 minutes had passed. She was still worrying for him. 

Without stopping, he swooped her from the ground and took her to the skies. Wanda yelped a bit in surprise, but she had already sensed that it was him so she didn't resist. 

Enjoying a brief kiss in the sky, they descended back to the ground. 

"So, what happened there, Erik?" Wanda asked with a bit of excitement.

"Well, a lot happened... I just saved the multiverse, I got help from some companions too. Ones that even saved my life at one instance." Erik laughed.

"I also have to tell you something important," His smile diminished a bit, "But right now, let's enjoy each other for the moment, yeah?"

Just as Erik took Wanda in his embrace, another portal opened up behind them. Well, even though Erik's spider-sense wasn't tingling signifying no danger from the portal, but still, he and Wanda instantly got on their guard. 

But, Erik did recognize the portal as one of Watcher's. But the bald dude was just not trustworthy enough after the stunt he pulled at the last moment, 'He really had to pit me against Strange without any warning...'

But from the portal, a girl with white webs covering her important places emerged. 

"Wait... is that you, Cindy?", he called out, not being able to process her arrival. 'She should've been sent to her own universe, shouldn't she?'

As Cindy emerged from the portal and saw Erik standing in front of her, all her worries and sadness vanished. Smiling brightly, she leaped towards him and captured his lips with hers.

Well, at least that's what she was trying to do... but... she found herself surrounded by a crimson energy, levitating inches away from Erik, her lover.

Meanwhile, beside Erik... 

Wanda was standing with a terrifyingly, blank expression...

"Erik... why did this girl jump at you? Why does your arm look like it was going to accept her hug... And most importantly... why does her whole body smells of your cum!"

Erik had cleaned himself off before coming here, that might've erased Cindy's smell from him. However, Cindy's body still lingered from his smell due to the activities of last night. Well, Erik had just used a bit of water from his [Cryokinesis] ability to clean her, which wasn't that helpful in cleaning off the smell...

Erik's mind reeled as he processed the situation unfolding before him, 'Okay, so for some reason, Cindy is already here. However, my scent from last night's romantic adventures is still stuck all over Cindy's body. Well, even without all that, it seemed like I was too happy that she arrived and was unconsciously going to accept her hug in front of Wanda...'

Erik was planning to confess his deeds by himself... Not get caught!! This was the worst!

'Thankfully, I haven't felt Wanda probing my mind to read my thoughts, the situation is still salvageable.'

'Hah, Watcher has dropped off Cindy at the worst possible moment, if he had dropped Cindy in front of me alone then I would've been able to handle this better!'

'But before anything. I should calm Wanda the fuck down... She might crush Cindy with her telekinetic force...'

Panicking, fumbling, and apologizing right now wasn't the right move, Erik thought. Taking charge and explaining everything truthfully in a way that wouldn't hurt them was the goal. 

Exhaling Erik, grabbed Wanda's shoulder, "Wanda, calm down. I am going to explain everything to you. So, first, let her down." 

Erik's expression was unusually stern and cold. He had to say it like this so that she could know that he was truly serious and he needed to listen to her without lashing out. 

Just as Erik expected, Wanda stifled up.

However, his intentions were somewhat misunderstood by her. This was the first time he looked at her with such cold eyes... she couldn't bear this. He was always so kind with her, but now he was being so cold... She can't bear this! She can't have him abandon her.... 

While such dark thoughts hovered in her mind, she chose to obediently follow his every word, and every demand, "Y-yes..." 

Putting her head down, she released her hold on Cindy, allowing her to fall freely on the ground.

"Alright, Erik," she said, her voice shaking slightly and her eyes not daring to meet his, she was afraid to see his cold eyes. "Tell me everything."

Erik could sense her distress, his fist tightened to the point it made him bleed. 'It's my fault that she's like this...'

This was a very crucial moment of his life, Erik knew it. And he knew that he couldn't make any mistakes here. If he did he'd lose Wanda forever, and even Cindy too. 

However, just like him who could read minds when he wished, to some extent, Wanda could read minds too. 'And that's even better. She would know my truest of feelings!'

"Yes, but before that..." Erik turned towards Cindy, "Cindy, you remember the promise I made to you right? Then trust me and leave us alone for a while. I need to talk to Wanda alone regarding this."

Cindy nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. She took a look at Wanda before bowing and apologizing, and then she walked away.

'Fine, with this. I don't have to worry about hurting Cindy while I use my words and mind to please Wanda.'

"Uh... Wanda..." Erik turned to the trembling girl...

'She's in so much pain... It's all my fault!' Erik couldn't help but feel bad about all this. 

"Wanda..." He went and hugged Wanda tightly, he whispered in her ears with a soothing voice. "I'm the one at fault, babe and I don't have any excuses. I know what I did was extremely wrong to you. But I want you to give me a chance. I want you to listen to everything I say before you react. I'll accept whatever you say..."

Wanda on the other hand was a bit surprised, he was being so gentle and loving right now. It was as if the coldness he showed a moment ago was just an illusion. But she was glad that he was talking to her normally once again. 

Her heart felt relieved with just that again. Her trembling and fear in her heart also disappeared.

"Honestly, right now. I just want one thing. But I'll do as you say, for now, Erik. And I really want to know the circumstances which caused you to forget about me and fuck another girl! More so, behind my back."

Wanda expected that Erik might bring another girl in the future, but she didn't expect it would be this soon, and this way... behind her back.

Erik didn't know what the 'one thing' she wanted to do was... but he chose to continue

"It will take too much to say it in words, I want you to enter my mind realm," Erik said.

This was the best way he could think to convince her.
