After the show.
Gwen walked to the front of the stage, removed her headgear, and shook out her blond hair.
"Thank you for all the love~"
The crowd erupted!
"So Gwen is Ghost-Spider!"
"Oh my god, both my favorite girls are actually the same person!"
"You're too into this, bro. She's just acting. But wow, Gwen's cosplay is spot-on!"
"I used to be a Jessica fan, but now I'm all for Gwen!"
"Didn't you say you liked Ghost-Spider the most?"
"Well, I mean in school."
"You guys are so basic. Real fans don't choose one!"
Excitement buzzed through the banquet hall.
Evan and the group headed to the dressing room, ready to change out of their costumes.
The moment they were inside, Gwen threw herself into Evan's arms and planted a passionate kiss on him.
"Oh~"
"Look at Gwen, so affectionate~"
"Isn't someone a little extra hyped tonight~"
The girls nearby teased as they changed clothes. They didn't mind Evan being around, considering he was both handsome and reliable.
Evan let out a light breath, "Gwen, you were amazing tonight."
"All thanks to you~" Gwen rose on her toes and kissed him again.
As they kissed, Evan helped her unzip the back of her cosplay suit. They undressed each other and quickly slipped into their regular clothes.
The two looked so cozy together that the girls couldn't help but smile at them.
"Gwen, weren't you reluctant to wear that costume before? What's got you so excited?" Jessica folded her arms, slightly annoyed. "Even if you're happy now, I planned the party and performance. You should thank me!"
"Hehe~" Gwen grinned, stepping up to Jessica and giving her a quick peck on the cheek. "Thanks, Jessica. You're the best friend ever~"
"Ugh, Gwen!" Jessica wiped her face in mock disgust. "I may have female fans, but I'm still very straight!"
Mary Jane chuckled, covering her mouth. "So, Jessica, what's next for your club?"
Jessica thought for a moment. "Next, we need to recruit members! And I think the perfect person for that job is..."
She pointed with a smirk. "The vice president!"
"Who's the vice president?" Evan asked casually, still focused on Gwen.
Jessica narrowed her eyes. "Big brother, enough with Gwen! You're the vice president!"
"Huh?"
"What's with the 'huh'? You're the only one who has time for this!"
...
The next day.
Ghost-Spider Fan Club membership registration began.
Leaning back in his chair, Evan asked, "Name?"
"Uh…" The chubby boy clutching his backpack replied nervously, "Ned. Ned Leeds."
Peter, standing next to him, leaned in and whispered, "Uh, Evan, we're not prisoners."
His implication was clear: Could you be a bit friendlier?
"Hm? What's up, Peter?" Evan muttered, barely looking up, exuding a vibe that said he was only doing this reluctantly.
Peter and Ned exchanged glances and just went along with Evan's grumpy attitude, filling out their applications to become official members of the Ghost-Spider fan club.
...
"All right, next!" Evan knocked on the table.
A mixed-race girl stepped up, smiled, and greeted him. "Hi~ handsome."
Without raising his eyes, Evan asked flatly, "Name?"
"Handsome, I saw your performance at the party. It was amazing~"
"Oh…" he replied dryly. "Name?"
Skye: "…"
