Chapter 1: Sasuke Uchiha

"It's been a week since the appearance of the new red and blue vigilante. Many are worried about this "spider boy" and what he will do in the future. Stay tuned in for the afternoon 7 o'clock news for more information on the subject."

The TV continues to play the upcoming ad while a strange boy sits in front of it with a blank expression. Unlike the thin TV's of the new millennium this one is boxy and has a large antenna on the top.

Similar to the TV, everything else in the room is also old and out of date. There is no furniture in the room besides a single messed up sofa with several stains.

The walls of the room are a strange mash of colorful but ripped wall paper, multiple holes can also be seen in various spots.

A few pieces of clothing are littered on the ground, one of those pieces of clothing being a large black cloak with dark red clouds.

The most peculiar thing about the room however is the boy himself. There isn't anything odd about his appearance but more so the atmosphere around him.

A strange gloomy aura radiates from his body, one that's filled with misdirected anger and spite, it's so intense that even the air around him shakes uncontrollably from his mere presence.

"It seems spiderman has finally appeared."

The boy's black pupils spun rapidly, before turning dark crimson red with three black circles that rotated slowly around the center of the eye.

A light smile appeared on his face as he put on the cloak that had previously been laying on the ground.

"Should I go say hi to the boy wonder?"

~~~~~
A red and blue figure swung from building to building, leaving behind strings of webs in his wake that stretched across the setting sky of New York City.
Due to the passive noise of cars and traffic that New York usually had Spiderman was very relaxed just swinging around the city while listening to the somewhat irritating ambience.
"Chidori Senbon."
"What?"
Hearing a clear smooth voice next to his ear the boy in blue panicked, straining his body to turn in every direction to see who was talking to him.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a strange blue needle came flying towards the masked boy with a strong arc of lightning following it's path.
"Oh shit!"
Spiderman's eyes followed the quickly approaching lightning with panic. He could feel the force contained in the thing and knew he would likely die if something like that hit him.
Realizing the dangerous situation Spiderman went into overdrive, his body twisted aside using the webs connected to the buildings to pull himself away.
Krrrk.
In the next split second the lightning senbon cut straight threw Spiderman's shoddy suit, barely missing the skin of his right arm by less than one tenth of an inch.
"That ability you have to sense danger is quite impressive spider boy."
Spiderman looked up and saw a boy looking down on him from the top of a building. His long black hair rippled in the wind and his strong upper body showed itself from his unbuttoned black and red coat.
A strange pinge of jealousy came about the masked hero once he saw the large oversized black hood with red clouds printed on it.
'Damm, I really wish I was better at sewing.'
The boy jumped off the building and easily landed on a single web string next to Spiderman with one foot.
"I came to see if you'd like to join the organization I belong to."
"W-what?"
Spiderman, or more accurately Peter Parker was very confused. It had only been a few weeks since he'd started his vigilante work. And most of it was very low level stuff, things even the police were capable of doing, maybe even better than he could.
Catching thieves, preventing robberies, saving people from car crashes, and other similar things.
"Perhaps your a bit confused, after all, you likely haven't met anyone with other unique abilities such as yourself, have you?"
"Ah, no. Especially not someone who can shoot out lightning."
The mysterious boy nodded.
"That's understandable, not many people like us would blatantly show our presence by running around in a makeshift outfit."
"Hey! My costume isn't bad and it protects my identity well enough."
The boy only annoyingly smirked at his response.
"Well I suppose it does, but only to anyone who can't see beneath your mask. Otherwise, it's a bad disguise."
Another bullet of sweat dripped underneath Peter's mask.
"You can see under my mask?"
"Yes, a young teenager, maybe only 14-15 with short brown hair, a thin face with high cheekbones and small brown eyes. Am I correct?"
The panic that had somewhat subsided in Peter began to rise again.
'Dammit, what if this guy finds out my identity and exposes me to the public? I might be arrested, what would aunt May think of me?'
"I'll take your silence as a yes. Now that you know more of what I'm capable of would you like to hear my offer."
"Uh, s-sure."
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I'm a member of an organization made of individuals such as you and I called the Akatsuki. I've observed you during these past few weeks and found you fit the criteria to join our group. I'd like to extend an offer for you to join us as a new apprentice of the Akatsuki."
Peter kept silent for a few moments before speaking again.
"Why me? I'm not good at anything, I could barely even dodge your attack."
Sasuke shook his head and began to speak in a less deprecating tone, "You have potential to become one of the strongest members of our organization. I don't exactly know what your powers are or what their source is but I can see that your future as a superhero is bright. Under us you can become something even greater than that."
"I-I."
Peter stuttered a little before regaining his composure.
"I'm sorry but I'll have to refuse. I'm sure the Akatsuki is great but I'm just a kid. I don't know how to fight and crime fighting is just a hobby of mine, it's not something I want to spend the rest of my life doing."
Peter was seriously frightened about what would happen next but once he saw Sasuke shrug and jump back onto the building he let out a deep sigh of relief.
"That's fine. Perhaps I shouldn't have asked someone without the drive to become better. I'll see you next time Peter Parker."
"Wh-."
Before Peter could say anything else Sasuke vanished in a bright flash of blue lightning.
