Chapter 96: Miss System, Is Kryptonite For Sale?

The voice was calm, but it made Thor immediately alert.

Not even Thanos could have approached so quietly!

He turned his head slowly, seeing the tall figure in a blue and red cape behind him, and his lips twitched.

"Let her go. This is a matter for us Kryptonians, and no one else needs to intervene."

Thor: "Miss, is there any kryptonite in the mall?"

"Yes, but you've run out of points and can't afford to buy it…"

Thor:

....

"Hahaha, look who's here! Our big boss, Tony Stark!"

Stark, who had just exited the car, was greeted by the attentive Obadiah, who guided him into the venue.

Numerous reporters had already taken their positions.

Stark casually sat down under the podium, pulled out a hamburger, and took a bite.

After a moment of reflection, Stark concluded: "The incredible experiences of these past few days have opened my eyes. I've realized that I can contribute more to this world, not just by creating explosions."

Obadiah's expression changed, and he had a sinking feeling.

Stark looked at the astonished crowd and smiled slightly. "So, I have decided to close the weapons department of Stark Industries from now on!"

The announcement was like a bombshell in the crowd, and the reporters erupted in chaos…

"Tony, you need to reconsider your decision! We build weapons as part of our job, and we help reduce chaos in this world…"

Obadiah tried to persuade Stark, hoping to change his mind.

Regardless of the humanitarian concerns regarding weapon production, Obadiah's perspective was purely about profits.

After all, making money was the key! Why make more money if you already have plenty? Losing your conscience means losing everything...

"No, we've only added to the chaos. Besides, we can explore other directions."

"What direction? Creating a bottle?"

"No, we need to reconsider the Ark reactor technology."

Despite Obadiah's attempts, Stark was unmoved. Even his father, Howard, wouldn't be able to persuade him.

Watching the stocks continue to plummet, Obadiah decided Stark should not be allowed to act so recklessly any longer. As the one poised to take over Stark Industries, he was determined not to let Stark's decisions ruin everything!

Stark's actions had certainly angered all the shareholders, and he must be dealt with before Obadiah could take control.

Frustrated, Obadiah decided to approach Thor again. After all, the shares in Thor's hands were significant, and Stark needed to be handled before he could be removed.

Thor was preoccupied with a more challenging opponent.

To be specific, he, who typically relies on force to solve problems, might find this situation more complex…

Clark Kent, or Superman, the MC of the universe - DC…

Aside from kryptonite, his only real weakness was his low magic resistance, which barely affected his near-total physical resistance.

Even if his magic resistance were zero, he could still endure a massive lightning strike directly...

Despite the immense power of "Heavenly God Descends," he was still under pressure. Moreover, the opponent clearly held back.

No wonder a super girl like Supergirl only costs 30 million ; it turns out there's a formidable adversary like Superman beside her!

"Stop it, Clark Kent! He hasn't harmed me; he saved me!"

The girl's shout went unheard as the two continued their confrontation.

"..."

Casually swinging his hammer, Thor was fortunate enough to trigger the "severe hit" stun. Superman's movements faltered for a moment, allowing Thor to quickly follow up with a "Storm Hammer" stun before taking a breath.

The transformation state faded, and Thor looked at Superman, who was waking up, and decisively readied his hammer.

"Shall we talk?"

Facing an opponent he couldn't defeat directly, Thor opted for a different approach.

"I am not your enemy and mean no harm to this world. To be precise, I come from another world."

Thor stood beside Superman, spreading his hands to indicate no hostility.

There was no choice; the opponent's eyes could emit heat, and getting hit was no joke.

"A parallel universe?"

Superman hesitated, contemplating this possibility.
