Chapter 122: The Curtain

The impact of this genocide was immense.

Across the Nine Realms, silence prevailed, except for Earth, which was shielded by Kamar-Taj. Odin's decisive strike seemed to cast them back to an era of conquest.

In the universe, ancient powers raised their threat levels against Asgard and sent envoys to form alliances.

On the ruined Titan, Thanos gazed at the sky in silence, and the Black Order also remained quiet.

After a long pause, Thanos finally spoke: "He is still formidable. Thousands of years ago, if I had fought against Odin to obtain the Tesseract, it would have been a different story."

No one interrupted, except for Black Dwarf, who, despite his lack of insight, tried to flatter: "How strong is he? Even if Odin is strong, he is definitely no match for the master."

Among the Black Order, despite his imposing physique, Black Dwarf's status was the lowest. Unlike others who followed Thanos out of fanaticism, Black Dwarf's loyalty was solely for the survival of his race.

He wore the heaviest armor, endured the most dangerous tasks, and was often the first to charge into battle, which made him survive until now. His flattery was his way of showing loyalty.

But this time, his attempts at flattery only embarrassed Thanos, leading Corvus Glaive to slap him hard.

"Shut up! Just stop talking!"

If Thanos could truly defeat Odin, why would he need to send Loki to Earth to cause trouble? Thanos' expression clearly showed that he had suffered greatly.

After dismissing his subordinates, Grandmaster watched two gladiators fighting in the arena and sighed: "Alas, no one can beat a group of fighters."

"I wonder when the next champion will appear. It would be best if they looked strong and muscular. Recently, audiences prefer violent aesthetics."

After the war, the aftermath was handled by Sif and the others, and Odin fell into his Odinsleep upon returning. This time, it took longer than usual, and it was seven days before he awoke.

Previously, Odin had exhausted much of his divine power by repairing the Bifrost and using dark energy to send Thor to Earth, resulting in an energy drain. Loki had then trapped Thor on Earth.

In this life, at least on the surface, Odin still had his divine power.

When Odin awoke, he chose to leave for a while, despite his reluctance.

"I have experienced too many changes in my life. Now, I need some quiet time to think, review, and reflect on my life."

Loki wanted to respond, but Odin's confession left him speechless.

"But I hope that one day you will prove yourself to be stronger than I was!"

He no longer attempted to correct Thor's philosophy or argue with him. Everyone has their own path. Since Thor had the capability, he need not follow Odin's plan.

This was the mindset of a seasoned leader.

"Drip! Congratulations to the host for completing the Odin-related mission—War and Peace. Successfully gaining Odin's recognition of his own ideas and receiving a reward: Passive Skill—Man of Steel!"

Fiery energy surged through Thor, and he could feel his body transforming.

"Oh?" Odin also sensed Thor's change and held his arm to check his pulse.

"It's remarkable, your physical strength has reached an exceptionally high level.

Perhaps this is the confidence needed to face Ragnarok?"

Odin exclaimed: "But you must remember, there is no absolute invincible defense in this world, and no truly invincible artifact. Don't let this make you overconfident or underestimate the strength of others in the universe."

Thor nodded; he had always understood this.
