Will We Fight?
The next day after their passionate night Laura and asura both got up and ready to address the students.
" Larua?"
Asura spoke up
" Yes? What is it?"
Laura asked.
" I have an idea on what to do with the depowered students, but I wanted to get your opinion on it first."
Asura said as they walked through the hallway towards the auditorium.
" What did you have in mind."
Laura asked
" We can't send them home. That will only put a target on their backs and their families. So, how about we teach them how to fight without their powers. You, Logan, and I are the best hand to hand fighters in this school. For those who still want to fight we could train them. What do you think?"
Asura asked.
" I don't know if I can do it."
Laura said
" That's fine. Me and logan could handle it. We could also get help from other X-men in teaching them."
Asura said.
" Do you think it's a good idea to keep them here?"
Laura asked
" We don't have any other choices. The world is in great turmoil right now. This is the only place we can reliably keep them safe. I at least think I should run it past the others."
Asura said getting a nod of approval from Laura.
Asura and Laura arrived at the auditorium hand in hand during. When they came through the doors the entire student body erupted into cheers and began shouting Asura's name again.
" ASURA! ASURA! ASURA! ASURA!"
The students chanted.
" He's pretty popular now isn't he."
Kitty said
" Of course, he is. He did save their lives and did you not hear that speech last night. I'd say they trust in him more than they do us right now."
Iceman said.
Asura raised his free hand and the chanting ended.
" Asura! X-23!"
Emma started
" Her fucking name is Laura!"
Asura growled.
" Right. I'm glad you two could finally join us after your Special night together."
Emma said taunting the two.
" We were just in the middle of discussing what we were going to do with the students who have been depowered."
Emma said.
" Actually, I was putting together a plan myself. But please go on Emma tell us what is going to happen to our brothers and sister."
Asura said while crossing arms. The venom in his voice apparent to all.
" We have decided that you were right Asura. Sending them out all alone would only make protecting them that much harder. So, we've decided to let them stay in the hopes that other humans would see that it is possible for mutants and humans to live together under the same roof."
Emma said
Asura stared at Emma in silence, while the students all watched and waited for Asura to speak up.
' So, you learned your lesson after all.'
Asura thought before cracking a smile, that surprised everyone in the room. Emma Frost especially.
" Thank you, Emma. While i agree with you on that basis. The students can't just stop their training. If you all still want to learn to protect yourselves and those beside you Myself and logan, and any other teacher who might want to help, will begin teaching you how to fight. That is if you still want to. Of course, the decision will not jeopardize Your staying here."
Asura spoke up.
" For those of you interested, Come see me or logan. You'll be allowed to join anytime you want, of course once you start you cannot stop. So, take your time in making this decision. Do not be hasty. Be certain."
Asura finished his proposal getting nods of approvement from the X-men and another round of cheers from the students.
" Well, it would seem like our next course of action is clear. We'll be sending someone to speak to those that have left already in the hopes of having them return. Before we end this however there is something we your teachers all want to say to you."
Emma said before She and the rest of the X-men all lined up together. Bowing their heads.
" WE ARE SORRY FOR FAILING YOU IN YOUR TIME OF NEED! PLEASE FORGIVE US!"
Every member of the X-men said shocking the students.
' That is exactly what I needed to see.'
Asura thought with a smile on his face
Asura walked towards the stage the students and X-men all watching him intently. When he reached it, he stood beside the other X-men and raised his hand to the sky
" MY BROTHERS! MY SISTERS! WILL WE DIE ON OUR KNEES AS DOGS TO SOCIETY?"
Asura asked
" HELL NO!"
The students yelled.
" I SAID MY BROTHERS! MY SISTERS! WILL WE DIE ON OUR KNEES AS DOGS TO SOCIETY?"
Asura yelled in the faces of the X-men.
" HELL NO!"
This time the entire Auditorium including the X-men yelled
" OR WILL WE STAND TOGETHER AND FIGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM!"
Asura yelled slapping Logan in his chest.
" OUR BROTHERS!"
Asura yelled slapping Colossus in his chest.
" OUR SISTERS!"
Asura yelled in Emma's face holding her head directly to his.
" OUR FAMILIES!"
Asura yelled to the students.
" FOR THE SAKE OF OUR FUTURE AS MUTANTS WILL WE FIGHT!?"
Asura yelled beating his chest.
" YES, WE WILL! YES, WE WILL! YES, WE WILL! YES, WE WILL! YES, WE WILL!"
The Entire School yelled Raising their fists and beating on their chests.
" YES WE WILL!!!!!!!!
