Pawn

As Magnus was about to start smhis experiments on the cubes all of a sudden the scenery in front of him started to distort. Soon the withe space started to shatter like a mirror and everything started to fall inside the mirror. Befor Magnus can do anything he is forced to fell inside one of the crack.

"Boom, Boom, Boom" Magnus opened his eyes with the loud sound. After the white space disappeared for a few seconds Magnus didn't know where he was. After then it felt like he fell from above. And soon the loud sound started.

"Damn where am I?" Magnus stood up and starts to look at his surroundings.

In front of him there are many people and Magnus is among one of them. There are people in his left and right. There are also people in his back. All of them are carrying a glowing red spear in their hand and a glowing sky blue sword in their wrist.

Magnus looked the scenery and soon realised that he's inside a battlefield.

This is no ordinary Battlefield as he looked towards the enemy they were facing he felt fear running down his spine. In front of them is a giant creature which is bigger than the Titan above. The giants face is blown apart but all his body is still intact. It has four limbs like a human but it's not quite has a human body structure.

He also found that there are people fighting against the giant. Each blow from the giant is so terrifying and powerful that its shattering the earth itself. The ground is constantly shaking and the surrounding air already filled with a strange toxins that's making his nerves to boil.

Below the giant there are people fighting with creatures that looks like the mini version of the giant. Although they're still quite big enough from human.

"Soldiers Prepare for battle." A man shouted with a very stone hard voice. Magnus looked at him and noticed that he's wearing an armour that completely covered his face and body. There's a large claymore type sword hanging on his back. The man is sitting on top of a mechanical looking Horse.

"This is a Sci-fi type world. But why am I in a war." Magnus wanted to ask the questions to the voice that appeared previously but this time there's no voice can be heard.

"Well this is tricky." Magnus looked at everyone. Before them a large group of Giant species are about to attack. The soldiers are also ready. All are waiting for the order.

The knight who was on the horse lifted his sky blue sword up in the sky and shouted, "For Humanity, For the Empire." Saying that he run towards the enemy. At the same time all the man started following him.

The people at the front all aimed their spear towards the enemy. They run with all their might and soon the collision happens.

In an instant everyone started fighting. Magnus decided to fight. Since he can't hear the voice it's safe to say that the voice wanted him to go on with the flow. Magnus looked at the line before him which is about to engage with the fight and dropped the cover on his helmet.

"Boom" A large explosion happened close to him. The enemy started throwing projectiles towards them but the army didn't stop. They push forward. The sides people are already engaged in a battle which allowing the middle army to move forward.

"So they want us to take over that hill. Huh! But that's gonna cost us. " As they are approaching towards the hill Magnus noticed a Giant with a very unusual shape. This one has a more proper shape than the other ones. It almost looks like a Giant Human.

Soon the army reached the foot of the hill all of a sudden the Knight who is controlling the army attacked by something. He didn't even have time to react and is quickly decapitated. His head flew towards the sky and the killer of his jumped towards the army.

To be more precise it jumped towards Magnus. This is the giant that Magnus previously noticed with a perfect body. As Magnus was about to be hit he looked towards the people surrounding him. They knew that the giant will kill them the moment it falls here but instead of running they are awfully prepared.

They raised they're weapons above and aimed it towards the giant head. All the spear flew towards the giant. Giants body is covered with a thick layer of aura so most of the attack didn't even penetrate it properly. But still some managed to land a hit and blood flew out of those parts.

"Green Blood!" Magnus is surprised but he didn't have to think about it. Magnus looked at the Giant that is about go rampage in the middle of the army. He then revealed a smile in his face and spoke, "Well since I already started fighting might as well see through the end." Saying that he jumped from his position.

The people close to him looked at Magnus with a surprise look. But they didn't hinder him or try to stop him. Instead they attacked the giant in all front.

Magnus jumped towards it and soon he reached the same height as the giant. Both are about to collide. At that time the giant also noticed him but it casually send a slap towards him.

The attack of that slap is filled with Qi. Magnus looekd at the attack and at that time he lifted his Spear. The moment the attack was about to hit Magnus disappeared. In the middle of the sky he shifted his trajectory and reached above the giants head.

The giant noticed him and quickly tried to send another attack but this time Magnus is faster. He throws his spear at the neck of the giant. The giant didn't have time to dodge. So it only relied on its aura to block it.

"You made a mistake Mr. Giant. You should have killed me instead." The spear landed on the neck and started spinning in the neck. Although the neck is protected by the aura, Magnus's attack still managed to hold on instead of bouncing away.

At that time Magnus landed on the giant's neck and pushed the spear with more force. The giant is tried to stop him but the ongoing attack from below didn't let him lift his hand.

"Splash" The spear finally penetrates the back of the neck and come out from the front. But Magnus didn't stopped. He lifted his sword up and with a swift move he cut down the entire head apart. The moment it's neck is penetrated it already lost control of the aura.

The Giant and Magnus both landed in the middle of the army with lound boom.

After the dust is settled everyone is looking at Magnus with a strange look. As if they never thought that someone manage to defeat the giant. When they were attacking the giant earlier they were attacking it with the intention of not killing it. More like hurting it. Magnus even heard some of them saying that the Knight will take care of it. So try to hurt it as much as we can.

So when someone other than knight manage to defeat it they are indeed very shocked about the outcome.

Magnus looks back at them while lifting his spear high up above the sky. He then let out a loud roar and said, "For Humanity, For the Empire."

Everyone also started shouting and roaring along with him. This one move changed the outcome and even the army's behaviour. The things they thought are impossible to defeat by them is actually killed by one of them. A new found hope, courage and confidence started to boil up inside them as they roared and started to climb the hill.

In the silent hall of the sanctuary soon two voice started chatting like previously. "No.1 have you seen what he had done?" The voice of the No.2 is filled with surprise and fear at the same time.

The No.1 voice didn't reply to her instead she spoke, " The last time someone tried to do this became a very famous guy in the universe but in the end he also failed to fulfill the mission. I hope this young man show us some miracle."

No.2 was stunned as she looked at the outcome of the fight over and over again. But soon she is interrupted by the No.1. "Speaking of stunning performance. The other one that entered the test also showed something interesting. "

"Yes. To think she managed to resonate with such a dangerous thing. Is it fate or something else? " No.2 replied.
