Onslaught

I'm the white room Anna is sitting in front of 9 cubes. Each one of the cube represents one of the Anna's soul or consciousness. There's the mastery of sword, mastery of spear, bow, dagger, claymore. There are four other mysterious cube but amidst them the most mysterious and dangerous is the laws of Devourer.

"In the history of humanity this is a law that is feared the most and also one of the most sought after one. It's probably a legendary laws. I don't know what her future may lead to but if she turns against us we need to end her."

"But No.1 we don't have the authority to that, you know?"

"I know that we don't have it but we can still manipulate him." Saying that No. 1 pointed towards Magnus who is this right now in the middle of the battlefield.

"We can always manipulate one to erase the other if it's necessary."

One other side Magnus's army finally managed to reach the top of the hill. The moment they occupied the hill top few soldiers from the middle quickly advanced and started setting up a device.

As the engineers are setting up the device the army started to form the formation. As the captain of these team has died another knight took control of them.

"HMMMMMMM" Soon a loud sound of engine started coming from right above Magnus. He looked up in the sky and noticed a spaceship. It's a black spaceship that is very long in diameter. There's also a strange symbol of a golden throne holding up by many hands.

Magnus also noticed that this same symbol is also printed in the army's armour and shield too.

"May be this is the force I am fighting for." Magnus tried to remember if he ever seen this symbol in one of the memories. After searching for sometime he found one piece of memory. A man named Conan, who was once a renowned scholar once investigated about this symbol. From his memory Magnus learned that this is a symbol of an ancient galactic civilization that fall approximately 12 billion years ago.

"That's a long time ago. Never thought that I will encounter them here." Magnus searched a bit more to find some related memories after that he looked towards the spaceship again.

Magnus has a grand plan about his future. If he wanted to become the strongest he knew that this planet is too primitive for his growth. Even though this planet is probably one of the strongest as this planets cultivators can actually touch the level 69 but there's only one human who ever managed to cross that bottle neck of 69 and managed to teach level 70.

But still this planet is nothing compared to what a galactic civilizations can offer. First of all the resources. A galactic civilizations can provide him many resources that this planet can offer. Second of all he can also encounter more dense world Qi areas.

Right now Magnus has nothing particularly important in this planet. He probably has some family left in the Iron Empire but Magnus doesn't have any intention to contact them. It will be better for him to leave this planet before he starts growing some attachments.

To leave this planet there are two possible ways. One is to reach level 70 while the other one is to build a spaceship. Magnus once decided to build one but soon rejected the Idea since it's too much of a hassle to build one and it will also alert all major forces in the world if words gets out.

Magnus rejected it because there's actually another way to do it and that is to open all the senctuaries all over the world. If he managed to open it he can easily contact the nearest galactic civilizations.

That's why Magnus wanted to open them. But he never thought that they themselves contain such mystery themselves.

"Boom Boom kaboom" Magnus snapped out from his dream and returned to reality. Up in the sky the war became intense. The ship above them is firing it's railgun towards the enemy ships. It's also getting many shots but the energy shield of the ship is blocking them.

The particles of the many ships are falling in the battlefield. Soon Magnus and his crew lift their spear up. The spear head turned into a cylinder and soon it starts to gather Qi from the environment.

"Swishhhh." Soon many small energy particles started to fly in the sky. They started to hit the enemy ships which has lost its shield.

The dark sky lit up with many bright colours as the starship started to engage. Below the hill there are other groups who are fighting against the giants. Fire and smoke raised from everywhere.

At one point Magnus started to notice that humans are getting desperate. The amount of giants is increasing for a long time but the humans started to decrease as more of them are getting killed in the fight.

As the battle proceed one particular starship from the enemy side started to make its way towards Magnus's army. Enemy ship has more oval shape than the rectangular shape of the human's ship.

Everyone noticed it's behaviour and soon started to shoot it. The space ship above also acted quickly as it's railgun blasted away the energy shield of the enemy.

"Destroy it. Aim at the opening." The captain is shouting and everyone is following the order. For about 10 minutes of firing the ship finally went silent. But soon another clamity arised. The enemy ship started to descending towards them at a fast speed.

Magnus and everyone started shooting it but they can't stop the descending. The ship above them already shot it's railgun last time and now it's in cool down.

Magnus looked at everyone as he thought why everyone is not moving. But the eyes of every worrior is filled with courage. They are also awfully calm at this desperate moment. Looking at them Magnus felt respect in his heart for these fighters. Although he knew that this is probably a simulation and this worriors are long dead but they were once alive they lived marvelously.

"I am happy to die with you guys. " Magnus spoke out but immediately stopped by the guy close to him.

"Shut up man. We aren't getting killed this time. We still need to win this battle and defeat them. Look...." As the worrior corrected him he also pointed towards the engineer team in top of the hill.

Magnus didn't noticed it before but in that short time the engineers are already finished setting up the machine that they bought.

The machine is like a long canon type weapon but the muzzle is very long. There's a weird device that is connected with the muzzle.

Before Magnus could ask what it is the muzzle of the machine started to make a "hummm" sound. Soon all the world Qi of the battlefield started rush into the machine and converge into the mouth of the muzzle. It soon formed a blue Qi ball that is started to become bigger and bigger by second. After a few minutes of gathering the machine stopped.

"Chiiiiiiiiiii" With a loud sound a long beam of energy shoot towards the falling spaceship. The moment is touched the ship the entire ship is dissected into two parts. It is done in such ease that it felt like a knife cutting a cake.

The energy beam is not new to Magnus as he already saw quite a few of them from both side. But the devastation that this one brought is something completely made him surprised.

The other one at best take down the shield or make a large hole. But cutting the ship apart is elnever done before.

The two parts of the ship went in two directions and fall in the left and right of the mountain.

Everyone is cheering. Humans in all over the battlefield saw what happened and they started to cheer too. This one single move made them so much motivated that they started to figt with even more force.

Soon the battle resumed and other hills also finished their weapons. At that moment Magnus felt that something is going to happen. Magnus looked at the machine in other hills. All of the started gathering Qi.

"They are going to shoot the giant." Magnus thought and he then looked at the far away.
